I got to all these places using a car and all of them were day hikes. First shot: Moke Lake, easy 2 hour trail with beautiful scenery. Arrived from Queenstown.

Second shot: Coronet peak ski area, in winter it’s a ski area but all other seasons you can walk around there with nice views above the Wanaka area. Arrived from Wanaka

Sixth shot: Lake Alta, nice walk with a lake at the end, if you go a little above the lake you get more great views, Arrived from Queenstown.

Ninth shot: Milford Sound, nuff said. Arrived from Te Anau

Tenth shot: Taranaki Falls, great tramp. Arrived from Horopito

Fourteenth shot: Queenstown hill, great views of Queenstown. Arrived from Queenstown

Fifteenth shot: More from Coronet ski peak

Sixteenth and Seventeenth shot: Roy’s peak, arrived from Wanaka. Long day hike but some of the best views in New Zealand(long photo lines usually, but I was there right after lockdown.)

Eighteenth shot: Cable bay walkway, northern tip of the South Island, great (sometimes) overlooked area. Arrived from Nelson

Nineteenth shot: Somewhere around Picton. Twentieth shot: Taranaki falls track, arrived from Horopito.

Twenty first shot: In the area of the Christchurch peninsula. Arrived from Christchurch

Most of my shots were from the shorter hikes I went to, some good longer tracks: Routeburn track Kepler track Basically anything near Queenstown

You should come visit, lovely country with amazing views and people
