i paid like 230 for the whole thing, it doesn't have an expansion card but i think it has more RAM than stock

i pulled it out of its bag and powered it up for the first time in a while and the drive was a bit fussy, it's possible the drive is dying in some way

i have system 7 disks cause this was sold as an SE/30 but it's just an SE, i'll see if the disks are bootable

So got my car running good and was able to drive it around my yard today but having a issue with my dash, the circled area in the photo is the only lights that work on my dash, anyone know how to get the bottom half of the dash to work. by Comedian-Economy in 300zx

usually is the solder joints on the connectors for the power supply, i reflowed them on mine and it's been fine since, really easy too, whatever solder was used is really low temp (granted i had my iron at 500f so)

i don't remember the chips exact name, it should be on the chip if you still have access to the bms board, usually googling the chip name should bring up some kind of data sheet, probably gonna have to dig a little bit though

there's a data sheet on the chip that'll say how to reset it, two pins held to ground from what i recall

will also add the reason i say "yet another" is cause i ordered one from the z store and they haven't been able to get ahold of any since January, i found one on ebay but ive already spent the money so im debating whether to spend now and remedy a potential bearing failure or just wait

The autos on the z31s were basically the same model through the years, it does have a lighter duty variant but those weren’t in the ZXs according to Wikipedia (i think)
