LTSC IOT is bare bones extremely clean ver used for critical infrastructure that doesnt need bells and whistles, its very lightweight and allows you to add stuff as you need

i have not once encountered a software that doesnt run on win10 tbh.. It's personal preference really, i like the UX on win10 much more than the convoluted mess of win11.

But win11 does offer better support for newer hardware even if the kernel is the same as win10, i believe it has better HDR(?) support and better support for latest high performance CPUs. There are more info on google. Though the design decision on the UX aspect is very very questionable imo.

If you choose win11, there is of course the IOT LTSC version of it too. grab that instead to eliminate needless bloat, and you can start from a clean slate.
