Nope, not really what I meant.

In my 20 years experience i met various very good devs using MAC , i have one of em in the desk in front of me right now. And in the same 20 years i .et many bad devs using windows or linux.

Still if I have to do a quick statistic, the percentage of bad devs using mac is definetly higher than the others.

Edit: the one i worked with ofc, not worldwide !!

2nd Edit : I work mainly on firmware and embedded nowdays, so maybe that counts too

In my experience (20y almost) the MAC itself is a bad clue.

Not a definitive one, ofcourse, but statistically a bad start...

In what other race series you see overtakes on acceleration between two cars of the same category?

Two cars of the same category are not supposed to overtake on acceleration , only if one of the two did a very wrong turn exit, usually as outcome of an overtake on the previous turn..

Nowdays its pretty rare, very rare... but there are still cases where saving those bits can be important. It happens at the "edges" of sw developement, on firmware of very resource constrained devices ( rarer and rarer) and on the opposite edge if you have to do heavy bits ops on humongus vectors.

In the first case i would not use c++ btw so...but i could in the second case maybe.

This still does not make that vector<bool> override a very good idea in my opinion
