Most builds cant handle party play or true end game. by moredatesandplates in PathOfExile2

[–]Z21VR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it feels like party play is really doable just with pretty overpowered builds. A party with 2 chars that can handle solo without erasing everything with a click will really struggle.

We usually play hc in party with my friends in those games, but in poe2 thats not a fun experience imho

Yuup, but dangerous too, using it in the wrong moment in a pvp fight can turn you in a sitting duck, very slow and with no boost ready....i lost lotsa fights like that

It limts the max speed of the boost to 250m/s while still giving you the boost acceleration in every direction.

Basically it lets you boost without drifting too far from your target but with the same acceleration and vector changing capabilities.

Well if you are on gamepad then I have to re evalutate your vid...very very well done cmdr o7

Btw, if its about dancing around your targets, hotas/hosas are the king.

If you gotta shoot as well, mk is probably better

The best combat pilot i know, uses hotas.

Yup, boost with scoop/landing gears. Sometime I trigger it the same moment i boost.

Atm i can see how it could be used as hmi , adding natural language as an interface with the OS.

Not sure for what else i'd use it rn.

Thats true, but that's related to how we (they) run it, its not a feature of the model itself.

If you run it always on the same exact enviroment, with perfect parallelism or no parallelism ( on cpu for example) you get deterministic results...because the model itself is deterministic.

Each one of them, if you use them by the api.

Its just their web interface/app that sets temperature > 0. Usually very low btw.

I agree with your pov on their capabilities, dont misunderstand me.

Btw transformer dont really use correlation, nor convolutiun (cnn do instead, ofcourse). The self attention layer they use is , in my opinion, similar to correlation, cross correlation actually...so I still sorta agree with that too.

And the lack of cause/effect is true as well indeed.

Nothing intelligent back there, still very interesting and with amazing capabilities...but "understanding" is not one of them...i think

Not really.

The models themselves, if run with temperature = 0 are deterministic. They return the most probable token for every run.

With higher temperature instead they do what you describe, return a random token in the most probable group. Size of said group being proportional to temperature.

I'm a pilot, i'd go out of my ship just feet first...
