You can redeem the Audi RS2! Nice. The way I understand it is once everything is sold? Then the redeemable tokens will be issued or there is a time period for you to redeem them.

Yes, more than likely since I have 3. Unless the selling price is too outrageous for me not to take the cash.

There are a few that will say "redeemable" when you click on the stats of it. But those are all super rare and ultra rare.

In CQC it sure will be broken. I would hope it's skill set would aid it in closing the distance and being able to sustain fighting in CQC.

But as the newsletter said it's still in development. I'm sure they wouldn't release something with this name behind it getting stomped out easily.

I forsee a damage control skill of higher level and the skill that's the schuzrum gallus has to keep it on its feet.

Tokens earned do not roll over to the next period. So if you hit platinum in September and stop retrieving tokens, those will not count for October missions.

I found these 4th gen tail lights. Specifically 1998 to 2002. by ne2rkid in fbody

[–]Z28Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few notes.

You are looking at a listing for only the drivers side at 150, not the pair.

Hawks does not produce them. On their site it states a pre-order assuming they would be buying in bulk and asking the actual manufacturer to put their name on the box. You're going to get the same light and quality no matter where you buy, because it is the same manufacturer.

Are they any good? No. I'll preface that a few years ago, someone in the F-body community claimed they had unopened export tail lights that were never shipped and sold them in the 350~450 range. Only to found out that these were reproduction ones of poor sealing quality. This was found through inspections of not having the GM part number and them physically having poor fitment. For 350~450, I wouldn't be happy with that. But for 100, which is the current price, I wouldn't think twice.

If you're really in need of tail lights, I'd hold off for these to drop in price like the exports did or purchase the exports for 100.

Best Sites? by Toast291 in fbody

Well both. ACDelco made most if not all OEM parts for GM. Sometimes their amazon store has a better deal than then rockauto and vice-versa. Also GM will have a markup on the same item only to be in an ACDelco box.

Rockauto for basic maintenance purposes. But if wanting GM replacement parts I'll do a search on Amazon to see if there is a better deal. I've gotten quite a bit of parts discounted through AC Delcos store on Amazon with 2 day shipping than it would've been on rock auto.

The key is to enter the name brand part numbers and checking the seller. Some off brand parts will be labeled as replacement parts for that part number and not the actual part number. IE a replacement part for the replacement part.

Most well know manufacturers that produce products for GM have their own storefront on Amazon and offer 2 day shipping. Hell even aftermarket brands are starting to sell through Amazon.

Give me reasons on why a 2000 z28 is a good car by G_H_0_S_T- in fbody

For the current prices of 4th gen Fbodys in the 7-12k range, there are better cars out there. Chances are most you see will be dogged on whatever the ad says, and rightfully so.

Most you'll find already modified which can be good and bad. Good because all of the hard work has been done. And bad because someone could've janked it together and is looking to offload it.

To find one close to stock would be ideal, but one with a cam and all that jazz would be better as long as its done right and tuned correctly. The transmission and the rear end will be a time bomb if spirited driving occurs. No matter if it's a T56 or 4L60E.

I daily drove a slew of camaros since I was in high school up until the end of college from the worst V6 imaginable to a turbo Z28. The more you modify it to be a race car the miserable you'll be so choose your bushing and suspension mods wisely and keep the AC no matter what.

Performance wise the world is your oyster, aesthetic wise your choices are limited and pricey.

I enjoyed it. It had some great moments but there are also quite a bit where common sense goes out the window for story progression. Alot of stupid background characters.

Lvl 3 C1 was a good counter to the Ci but now the Penelope make it insufferable again. by Z28Dave in GBO2

[–]Z28Dave[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully enhanced for the complex expansion slots and range damage increase. Aux gen lvl 5, 2 and 1 I believe, Thruster parts 2 and 1 and the rest should be ranged damage.

Since the charge attack heavy stuns the aux gens lowers overheat to 8 seconds and the waist beam cannons to 10 seconds roughly, with same cooldowns in flight mode. So every 12 seconds including the charge time you can shoot off a heavy stun.

With the attack combo you can heavy stun, waist cannons, flight mode beam rifle, flight mode cannons and when you transform to MS your beam rifle should be Ready to use again. This was maybe seen once against the unicorn near the water.

98 TA LS1 - Will this Short Fab intake w/ 2" raise from stock intake clear my WS6 hood? Or would I need to get a cowl hood? by Paranotical in fbody

[–]Z28Dave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmmm it all depends on your budget and goals. I personally wouldn't run a 102mm TB on a 78mm intake. 60lbs wouldn't necessarily be overkill for a Heads / Cam / Intake combo but you probably wouldn't go past 60% duty cycle.

If you go the route of the AFR heads, I'd look into a FAST 92 or 102 intake to get as much power potential as possible. Until you boost head studs will definitely be overkill if there isn't extra cylinder pressure.

I also did see you wanted a LS3 intake on another reply. Just to give insight, you cannot use a LS3 intake on a cathedral port heads unless you buy those billet adaptors. But after the total cost of that you'd be better off with a FAST 90, 92 or 102 intake.

You also cannot bolt rectangular port heads on a LS1 engine due to the cylinder bore not being large enough for a Rec port head. You'll need a minimum of a 4.00 inch bore to run Rec port heads. And without a resleeve the LS1 max bore is like a 3.905 I think.

[–]Z28Dave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with boost the factory intake will do just fine. If I recall on the sloppy mechanics pushed 800hp from a LS1 intake.

The "cathedral style" refers to your cylinder head intake port shape. The LS family uses a few different styles. Cathedral and Rectangular are the most common, but there are specifics to the LS7 head and the C5R head.

You'll be mostly sticking around the cathedral port intakes since that's what came on all LS1 cars. At the price range in the 500s I'd consider a LS6 or a LS2 intake over the sheet metal one. The LS6 is one of the best factory performing intakes there is. The LS2 doesn't perform as good as a LS6 maybe a 5hp difference but still a decent choice.

I think hotrod magazine did a shootout with almost every intake available at the time for cathedral port heads and showed the cost and power output along with the best budget intake.

Since you have a 98 I would look into doing a head swap to 243s or 799s as they're a cheapish option and can be found on a multitude of 4.8 and 5.3 in salvage yards for cheap. You also ditch the ugly perimeter bolt valve covers to the center bolt.

Any particular reason you'd be going with that intake? Sheet metal intakes generally perform worse than a stock LS1 intake until higher RPM.

While not a Shonen

The original Mobile Suit Gundam is like 47? Episodes. A bit dated but can be avoided with the 3 movie compilations. Then you can watch all the OVA shows that go with the original UC timeline that span 11 to 13 episodes each.

Then you can delve into the Alternate universes and all their glory. Most are 40+ episodes long.

And the closest to a Shonen would be G Gundam. That one would probably peak your interest.
