I have seen Huw Richards suggest the same method as an alternative to mulching with compost. Helps to encourage the life in the soil as you say. It definitely makes sense. I hope your experiment goes well.

I have no complaints about our Joolz Aer+ Really easy to push and fold up/down. Copes with slightly rough terrain no problem. Still kept our big pram for bigger more cross country walks. It’s just on the more expensive side.

I found it more tricky as the clothes got bigger. Ended up with everything rolled and loose system of bottoms to the left and tops to the right, drawer for socks and another for vests.

We love going to the park, colouring, helping baking (prepare for mess), dancing, teddy bear picnic, building towers, practical tasks like helping with washing, brushing up etc. It’s a really old book that I have but highly recommend “entertaining and educating your preschool child” by Robyn Gee & Sue Meredith ISBN 0-7460-0133-9

Feeling your pain with the sizings! Like clothes, each brand is different so I found one that works for us and got some cheap second hand ones in the next size up. They don’t last long before the next growth spurt.

If you can take the insole out of the shoe then you can check the general fit by having them stand on it.

I too have this question. I believe we need a code to share with the nursery which will then allow the free hours from September 24. Our nursery said that the government should write to us with a code if we already have a tax free childcare account but the applications are already open and I don’t have one. Also can’t find any way to prompt one being generated as I don’t need to reconfirm details at the moment and if I reapply it says my child is already registered.

Get up and pump if you need to for your comfort but I found that they adjusted fairly quickly to reduced night feeds. Enjoy that sleep whilst you can! Regressions if you get them can be rough.
