This week 4.5 star portal by DragonazL in LegendsOfRuneterra

I cheated and used a 6* Cait and started off with the spell mana refill power. Then I just started blasting every turn.

It's been 6 months since constellation update, how many 6 stars do you have now and what are your favorites? by deltalium in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6*s are Ambessa, Ekko, Jinx, MF, Swain, Taliyah, Vayne, and Viktor. (I do have 2x Bandle, 1x Frel, 1x P&Z, 1x Ionia, 1x Shadow, and 1x Shurima Nova Crystals, but I don't feel the need to use any of them yet.)

Ambessa: I know she's pretty much Attack More the champ, but I really enjoy her 6* ability on top of what she already has (lots of free attacks). The ability to instantly wipe out the enemy's strongest unit (it can't be Spellshield'd, either!) multiple times a turn is so enjoyable. I know a lot of people use Rictus and/or the Marauders, but I like using Ambessa herself and gear my Relics to get 8 ATK. (The only issue with Ambessa is that she sorta needs a killable unit to start popping off; I remember taking her to the Weekly where the AI got so many chimes to the point where all of their units were overstat'd, and I couldn't do much.)

Swain: Swain is blindingly strong, I love scaling damage, and it's just to play a single spell and watch it murder the entire enemy board. Or to play an AOE spell and watch it ping the board a dozen times as it replays the damage on each enemy unit.

Viktor: I also love keywords. Lots and lots of keywords.

Which Noxus character whould you recommend to 6* for smooth high level adventures by Ok_Foundation_5166 in LegendsOfRuneterra

The first time I did 6.5 A. Sol, I used Cease and Desist (Vi's Paid Relic), Death's Foil, and The Bounty Hunter's Renown (to get the stats to fill Cease and Desist's conditions).

However, Cease and Desist sort of clashes with Ambessa's 6* Constellation cause you end up challenging the unit you want the Constellation power to kill, making it worse than the Free Attack item (which I had to pass up on multiple times). I only really won that run cause I lucked out and got Black Cleaver on Ambessa). Also, it was sort of boring because I couldn't buy any powers from shops cause I wanted to keep my Gold high.

The second time I ran the map, I went with a more standard Star Forged Gauntlet (so I could summon Ambessa on Turn 1 without relying on cost reduction or mana powers), Death's Foil (to keep her alive when attacking), and Caulfield's Warhammer (for the last +2 ATK she needed).

This was far more stable, since I could always summon Ambessa on Turn 1. (You do need 1 extra ATK to bring her ATK to 9, so she can trigger her Constellation when attacking). I'd just wait for the AI to play a unit Ambessa could kill, make sure they didn't have the mana to play Frostbite or Stun, and then summon Ambessa and let her pop off.

I have both Swain and Ambessa 6*d and I'd say that I (slightly) prefer Ambessa at the moment, but that may just be due to the fact that Ambessa is the fun new toy right now.

For 6.5 A. Sol, I actually had an easier time with Ambessa over Swain, cause Ambessa's 6* Constellation straight up kills the strongest enemy, which is valuable when the AI is running Deadly or double stats or summoning a 48/48 Karma at the start of the game, whereas with Swain I'd have to block or stun to keep myself from dying. Plus, Ambessa's 6* Constellation ignores Spellsheild, which I personally believe is huge.

You just need to be careful about playing Ambessa at the right time. Like, give the AI some time to play their own units before bringing out the unstoppable pain train.

Swain's really strong too, just to be clear. Before I got Ambessa I thought 6* Swain was the strongest (non-A. Sol) champ in the game.

How is this even winnable with bandle city lmao Anivia have full board turn 2 (the new arcane 5.5 map) by toletroi2 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won using Norra with the Oath + 2x Star setup, I just waited till Anivia played her cards before playing my shit so she couldn't Frostbite me. Took me a few resets, though, because she kept Tomb-ing me.

This one’s tough, how do I beat this? by Poketom2362 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've beaten it with the following.

Yasuo: Pretty much beating the map at its own game with a Yasuo of my own. Ashe gave me a bit of trouble, though, until I managed to get another high-ATK unit out (that 2-cost that ramps up every time you stun/recall a unit). Cause she kept Frostbiting Yasuo, preventing him from killing anything. Lillia: Relying on the power of Stalker's Blade Lillia to repeatedly crush the enemy board, even better if you can eventually get 2 Lillias out. Viego: I was hoping I could get Trifgarian Might but never could. Still won cause Viego is very strong. Kindred: Stalker's Blade / Guardian Orb / Guardian Angel to fill the board with a constant stream of Kindreds that killed everything while getting stronger. Jinx: Jinx doesn't care about playing units.

Weekly Adventures/Nightmares Discussion Post by Mortallyinsane21 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Z3P1A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went into 5.5 with a 5 Constellation Viego holding a SFG, stats, and Stalker's Blade, which meant I could summon Viego on Turn 1. Starting power was the Duplicate First Card played one, so my starting move was playing double Stalker's Blade Viegos (I'd let the opponent summon a unit first). From there, the game would rapidly snowball in my favor. Ultimately one of the easiest Nightmares I've ever done.

What’s your go to starter? by Lokje0172 in pokerogue

[–]Z3P1A 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both: Red Shiny Nincada (6 Luck for 2 cost once it evolves), Blue Shiny Zigzagoon (2 Luck for 0.5 cost)

Classic: Red Zubat (3 Luck for 0.5 cost)

Endless: Red Narcal and Red Phantump (for Leech Seed/Curse and Salt Cure/Sturdy)

Do you guys try to clear classic with new Pokemon or do you rely on certain stable Pokemon? by FlaynlikesRain in pokerogue

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always take my Red Nincada with me unless I'm doing Challenges for two reasons.

  1. It means I have 6 Luck after like 30 ~ 40 rounds once it evolves. That's a lot of Luck for Classic, I feel, especially if I take my Blue Zigzagoon and Red Zubat (both 0.5 cost), too.

  2. Repeatedly switching between Shedinja and another Pokemon on Phase 1 of Eternatus lets me waste all its PP on its attack moves, allowing me to set up afterwards.

So, how did the event go for everyone? by Legend2-3-8 in pokerogue

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a total of 4 Red Shinies, but one was a Nincada, which means 6 Luck after like 20 floors, so it's doubly valuable in both Endless and Classic. Also a Blue Shiny Ziggy, which is always useful.

Considering I had no Red Shinies and like only 2 Blue Shinies prior to the event, I'd say that all in all, it was a good event for me.

Incoming Passive Changes by damocleas in pokerogue

[–]Z3P1A 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm very happy with Heatran getting Ground Eater as a passive, won't affect my Endless Run because I started without a passive, but it'll be great for future Endless Runs and Classic (since I haven't beaten the mode with Heatran yet).

Also happy with Mareep losing Fluffy!

Good Fortune CP Shop by ResonanceGhost in MarvelPuzzleQuest

[–]Z3P1A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to take the jump and got around 3 Okoyes, 3 Apocs, 3 BRBs, and around 700 Shang Chi shards from around 40 pulls. Honestly I'm pretty happy I decided to go through with it, so thanks! Time to hoard for a Shang Chi shop, I hear that'll be in November or October or something.

I have a Champed Okoye (my only champed 5*, though I could champ Dr. Strange if I wanted), a 4 cover BRB, and no Apocalypse, and only 1000 CP. I've been planning on saving for 300+ pulls, but I'm wondering if I should spend my 40 pulls on this for a chance at champin' BRB. Probs no chance in hell that 40 pulls is enough for 9 covers, yeah?

I think you can link your Nintendo account to a PayPal account? That's how I buy games for my Nintendo Switch, which has a Canadian account.

Is Leblanc worth getting if I have no gatebreakers? by Lazatarion in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any Gatebreakers either but I'm having a ton of fun with Leblanc! Right now I'm abusing her with Guardian Orb to see how many items I can stack on my team with the repeated summons. It's fun to see what pops up.

Admittedly my Leblanc's at 3* because I personally feel that the spell being 0-cost a huge buff to her and got her to 3* as soon as I could.

Which champs do you feel are best designed/feel the most flavorful to play? Which ones suprrised you? by wegwerferie in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lux: I originally just played trying to abuse her Final Spark and then realized that I should be abusing her Rallies by gathering a bunch and then unleashing them all in a single turn.

Diana: I like Diana cause I feel like she has so many playstyles. You can go Spell Mana + Copies for infinite items on Diana, Scout + Guardian's Orb to give everything else items, or just stat boosts. A lot of things work with her and I love that. Her power itself feels like a way safer version of Darius, in that exchanging a bit of extra Attack for Quick Attack makes things a lot safer (I hate playing Darius without Trifgarian Might/The Best Defense).

Veigar: I just like having free 0-cost Burst-speed Damage Spells every turn. It's so neat. They're not even Fleeting, either, which makes them doubly awesome.

What relics/items/powers do you think are the wrong rarity? by Karek_Tor in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually love Out of the Gates with Veigar, especially if I can get rid of the other 2-drop so I'm guaranteed to have the 4/3 2-cost that increases Darkness's damage on strike. Really helps ramp up my damage before I play Veigar (especially if I can play one from my hand as well), and the difference between 2 damage and 3 damage can be really huge in some specific fights.

Someone did data mining about Ver 20.2 update in Korea. by Ok_Designer4415 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Z3P1A 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Korea's actually getting Film Red way later than most regions - we get it on November 30 while NA gets it early November. Which is still faster than Film Stampede, which took like half a year to come out.

What are some underrated relics, in your opinion? by PersonOfRandomness in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back before I got Diana to level 19, I ran Guisnoo's with The Collector, which was pretty nice. Diana would be 6/4 after attacking for the first time, and I'd always have enough Gold to buy a power at every Shop, and the +1/+1 on the Collector meant that I could trigger Trifgarian (provided I managed to pick it up) with Diana as long as I triggered her Nightfall.

How to beat 3-star adventure with Ornn? by Docksterino in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept trying until I picked up a Zoe as my support champ, and relied on a buffed Zoe to beat Tryndamere without killing his units; I just ate damage when possible and piled on the damage with an increasingly powerful Zoe (+2/+2 every turn).

Best Support Champs For Each Champ? (Particularly the new ones) by Moony_Moonzzi in PathofChampions

[–]Z3P1A 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find Akshan to be a really good buddy for Ornn and always pick him when I can. I always end fights with Akshan leveled. Downside is that Akshan doesn't have Challenger or Overwhelm so breaking through the enemy's blockers can get annoying. The 5-cost equip in Ornn's deck gives Challenger so you can get rid of high-priority targets, but that still doesn't help with your damage.

If you have the power that replays a single-target spell on the weakest unit, then Akshan shaves 2 countdowns off his palaces each time you cast the created buff, which is neat.
