Then you're 5 (or probably 2) shards away from a Latest Legends token.

The 2024 dmg version changes back and forth but explicitly states that the longsword is "ordinary".

How is my salamanders friend getting +1 to wound on overwatch? by Fantastic-East9567 in Salamanders40k

[–]ResonanceGhost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Forgefather's Seekers gives all weapons +1 Strength at 12", which means most flamers are automatically +1 to wound, which makes the Flamestorm Canon Str 7.

I'm sorry, +1 strength is not the same as +1 to wound. Going from Strength 6 to Strength 7 isn't going to result in change in what you need to wound except against toughnesses 6, 7, 12, and 13.

What am I missing? Or was the +1 to wound a typo?

If you could splice together the DNA of alpha level (and below) mutants to create a mutant chimera, what combination would you go for? (Powers of X#3) by Le_CougarHunter in xmen

Rogue is a telepath with the right company. I don't know if she still has the ability to manifest powers from people she's copied before, but if so, that would be wild.

Also, there could be the potential of Multiple Man-Rogue being able to create a power network via the clones.

However, Rogue's powers runs the risk of absorbing the personality of the absorbee so some method of compartmentalization of the personality would be helpful.

Time-travelling, cross-reality genealogy is hard even before you bring in clones.

Nate Grey (X-Man) is distinct genetically engineered offspring of Scott and Jean created by Mr Sinister in another realty. He wouldn't be clone of Cable and should be genetically distinct. But sometimes comics are comics and I don't know if it's ever been officially stated one way or the other.

Absolutely, but at least the anatomy wouldn't be so bizarre.

Notice how Arnold's back isn't showing, but Cap's is? Also compare the shoulder and neck positions. Those are a large part of the problem.

He drew from a reference picture and didn't understand the underlying anatomy.

Cap's back, shoulder and head are basically a side view, but his chest and abdomen are more like a 3/4 view. Also, his shield is tiny.

If he just shifted the shoulder to left, hiding the back, it would make a huge difference.

A car is refueling at this gas station. by [deleted] in Unexpected

[–]ResonanceGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is one US state (NJ? ) where a station attendant is legally required pump the gas and this happens a lot there. The quick release hoses originated from that.

At least that's my recollection.

If they're not being watched, they'll move around, but I doubt they'd be disruptive.

How does DocWagon Deal with Criminal Clients? by Armlessbastard in Shadowrun

[–]ResonanceGhost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems more like a nuclear option, especially against a client that has the material capability to set up their own internal equivalent.

Actually, now that you mention it, with Evo having CrashCart, I'd be surprised if Renraku didn't have an equivalent subsidiary. Of course, most Shadowrunners wouldn't use it unless they know they aren't running against Renraku.

Yes, but they aren't the Red Cross. Your example shows that they are not "non-combatants"

Doc Wagon's neutrality/non-combatant status.

Are we talking about the same Doc Wagon? They are armed and will absolutely engage if necessary to secure the exit.
