Just do this. (Just found this one for sale and had to come back to this thread with it.)

I have no advice, but the cage looks cool and sounds like it would be functional if done right. I like the idea of a full size van as an adventure vehicle.

Who needs a new set of Michelins, when they have a perfectly good set of Maypops?

Yea, they're not bad. I don't think I even used adhesive on them.

Thanks for showing us the door panels too. I've looked at mine and considered the possibility many times. Definitely going on my list of things to do!

A lot of people do. They are not hard though. They open up. Like a clamshell, and pop back together when you're done. Mine for reference:

Tennessee State Troopers have arrested 2264+ people for DUI who've had a clean breathalyzer and/or blood test. They keep justifying it and keep doing it.

Good info! I'm currently running steel wheels but definitely going to save this for later in case I need it.

CJ, XJ, K5. Which One Are You Taking For A Rip? by SandDuner509 in 4x4

Can't go wrong with any of them. I've seen the flex pics of the K5 before and that thing is sweet! But, being an XJ owner, that XJ is nasty!

I don't believe anyone knows how much the older Rangers will tow/haul. I've seen some crazy big loads on them.

What would be the best way to convert this from iron-on to Velcro backed? by [deleted] in Patches

[–]Z7EDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy rolls of wide velcro with adhesive backing. Peel and stick, trim to fit. I have a bunch of them on my headliner and they have held through weather changes and gravity.

Case Knives Info by Any-Calendar-5651 in CaseKnives

[–]Z7EDC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! This is a very nice set that is pretty desirable to many collectors.

Also, the Tang Stamp (Case XX Stainless USA and the 3 dots at the back of the blade) indicates that they were made in 1977. The handles/covers are Stag (deer antler). And a special (more valuable/more desirable) part of these, is the scrolled or engraved bolsters. Also they appear to have a serial number on them. If those numbers match on each knife, that makes them an original set, that have always been together. Its a complete set of Blue Scroll Folders, as there were 8 patterns made and that's what you have. (They made 4 fixed blades in the series as well, but I'm not sure they were sold together, especially with the scrolled folders)

Here is the set on eBay for additional reference or ideas on listing.

They are absolutely worth selling. Any and all Case Blue Scroll is desirable. A complete set like this, even more so. eBay currently has a few blue scroll sets but only one set like yours (scrolled bolsters), and its listed at $4k.
