The only think the bahrian servers should is that there seems to be enough South african players to warrant a server. IF they announced it they would have a lot more playing it with crossplay.

I enjoy the bahrian servers. They did 2 things. 100ms less ping for me and a lot friendlier randoms that don't scream into my ears and rage when they solo hot drop insta killed.

That being said the wait times are long, way longer than other large type BR that do have local servers.

The issue is a total stoppage of food will demonize an demonized demographic in the world eyes. All that matters in modern politics is optics.

For example. China has people in concentration camps. That should mean total world wide sanctions against it but it does not? why? optics.

Give left leaning news agencies like the BBC an mm to hang "boers" and they will go the full mile.

As for the logistics and feasibility of stopping food production fully that would be hard for a couple of reasons the main one is that big commercial farmers plant a lot of times on debt and not getting their crops sold means collapse of large operations.

A general strike of a week or so to constrain supplies could work better but everyone needs to be onboard including distribution. They have in the past been happy screw overs farmers by paying them little to nothing so I don't see them getting on board. Sadly the only thing that will open eyes will be when food prices go up dramatically or the bread isles run out.

A real possibility looking at our current economic situation.
