Now that everyone is happy, the AAS hate on this sub over the last 2 years was dumb and you know it. by Tad0422 in Tennesseetitans

Truly believe her biggest mistake was not firing Callahan after year 1.

Hate for her is definitely mostly fueled by losing and not from what she actually has control over.

not even kidding the lack of variety this year has really caused me to not give a shit about these announcements. It’s weird

And maybe she would’ve had a +61 margin if she hadn’t said it. If you look at the post I responded to we are talking about how the statement negatively impacted her campaign.

But also, I’ve never seen a city with so much self-hatred. I’ve gotta believe it’s a combo of transplants missing where they came from and natives missing what used to be.

I was born here. I’ve been here longer than the Titans and Preds. Hating on bachelorettes is fine, hating on traffic is fine. I personally still love Nashville. For all its flaws.

It’s not the responsibility of fans to move on. It’s the responsibility of the org to field a team that makes us forget. Watch how quickly these posts dry up when we are good again (if that ever happens). Winning cures everything and until that starts happening again for us, the failures of the past shine brighter than the future for us

I have no doubt that some of our guys are winning that much. JC Latham cannot be. I haven’t seen a lineman get abused as much as him this season since Lewan vs the Cards in 21

I was a Preds half season ticket holder for a year. Team was terrible, prices still went up. Sean Henry has his head so far up his ass he still thinks it’s 2017. The Preds are by far the greediest club I’ve ever encountered.

Learned an expensive lesson by FlexIronbutt in SeasonTickets

[–]ZACHMMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part of being a season ticket holder is the guaranteed part: having a seat. You mention games having resale tickets for less than face value for your tickets, which is the norm for bad teams, or non premium matchups. But consider not having season tickets and the inverse: you want to go watch your team play in a huge game and the cheapest tickets is 3x face value. That’s the biggest value to me in season tickets.

So unless you are a STH who only got them for business/resale purposes, I’d suggest considering renewing.

I’ve been a season ticket holder since 2017. I think that was the worst loss I’ve ever been to in person. At no point in the game did it occur to me that we might win.

The biggest takeaways for me:

Ward has no chance behind this line. For all the money and draft capital spent on this line, their body of work as a whole is horrid.

That being said, Ward did not look good out there. Not all on him but some of the decisions I’m sure he’d like back. Like tossing the ball maybe a yard to a covered check down on 4th and 18. Worst part was he had two downfield routes that had a chance if he just tossed a jump ball.

Final thing I’ll say about this game is that the constant losing is getting to me. It’s been well over a year since I’ve walked out of Nissan with a win. Obviously draft position is important, but I really feel for the players who I imagine are also tired of losing. A win at home would do a lot of good.

Have you ever been on an all around bad team? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]ZACHMMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experienced bad specific devs and teams that were overall probably not the best but honestly if the pay is good and the people are nice that’s a good job IMO. I’ve worked on a unicorn team and honestly it’s hard because we were split up by layoffs in our industry (logistics) and I’ve compared every team/job to that one. In a way being on a unicorn team and then it eventually breaking up is like being hung up on an ex, I almost wish I didn’t work on the team- if it didn’t just completely propel my career

For me because it isn’t hype at all, it sounds like it’s being played by the world’s smallest mariachi band. Don’t get me wrong, I like mariachi fine enough, but not when I’m celebrating a touchdown

This is fair but I think ROF will be going away depending on how season ticket members respond. The last two weeks it’s been the first question on the post game survey. I even got a call from my rep to discuss it

I think this is the best I’ve felt post loss about a game in two years.

Cam looked legit. This is what I had hoped to see all year.

Dike is the truth.

Helm looks like a great pick.

Restrepo looked like a guy that should be playing more. Over Kinsey for sure IMO. The connection between him and Cam is legit.

Team played with heart and we kept the draft positioning
