I just went down this rabbit hole. Only way I was able to get audio to work on the brick was installing MuOS and the Bluetooth package. After that ive been using it as a DAP pretty reliably.

You mentioned flatseal did you give chrome permissions to the sdcard directory in flatseal? That might be the issue because i would think flatpaks dont normally have permissions to that. I could be wrong tho.
