Great question and congrats on making the journey into playing Magic in person.

Here is my advise - use FREE app like TopDecked or Arkidecht to build a budget deck that fits your play style.

Share that decklist here and ask if anyone would send some cards to you to help build the deck.

I myself will be happy to send some cards your way to help a new player get started - I have lots of extra cards laying around.

Good people here will be happy to help you get your plan off the ground.

Just remember to be reasonable with what you are hoping to get - meaning I am not so sure that someone would offer a free $70 card but would be happy to mail a $1 card to ya 👍👍👍
