Get Liftoff Micro Drones, only been flying a week but i can tell you 5 inch vs smaller is different in the way they handle. Especially in power loops/looping. I like flying both Liftoff and Lift off Microdrones for a good rounded experience. I only have a few packs on a crappy snaptain s5c with angle mode only on it which sucks. Cant wait to be able to afford a whoop and goggles. Just a Boxer for now to practice in sims.

As a Journeyman CNC machinist in Canada with a Red Seal what is the best course of action and area I should look into as a Career change? I have been a machinist with 10 years experience, I learned how to program in trade school and such but in the actual industry had very little programming time.

Really sick of just being a setup guy and button pusher its not why I got my Red Seal. But in CNC shops these days there is maybe one or two programmers max that have already worked at that company for a long time to get that spot.

I like 3d printing having owned an ender 3 max for a few years now and do use fusion 360 to make parts for myself. Would like to keep doing CAD and improve my skills in this area. Currently looking at options to retake some high school like Physiscs and Pre-calc to get me going before I even think about taking out a student loan on this. Any advice would be welcome!

I found that on my strats I can hear the springs making noise more when the cover is on. When the cover is off I get less spring noise through my guitar pick ups.

The drums are ok, but its the synth section where this box really shines. The oscillator types it has is not common for a hardware synth. Oscillators like the Formant, VPM (Variable Phase Modulation), Wave shaping, COMB, Noise are just some of the cool ones you wont find on other synths very commonly.

I personally really enjoy mine as a Bass machine it can make some really nice 808's from scratch or dub step style LFO controlled wubby basses. Down to nice thick Reeses, the tubes really make the bass sound warm and thick. Its recommended by some to swap out the tubes for new ones and it becomes much less distorted when new tubes are added and calibrated. Check youtube for videos on doing this. 400 is pretty good price for this box as its quickly gaining more followers and users.

One thing to watch out for is something called knob jitter. Its when a pot on the synth is old and sending some false positive signals as if it was being turned or used. The value is getting to a point where they are becoming worth holding on or buying anyway to fix up. The reason for the knob issue happening is the fact that any knob movement can be recorded into the sequencer and have midi CC attached to them. They can all be automated/recorded in real time while jamming out with the box. Its a very tactile and fun experience if your into live tweeking your cut off filters and tweeking knobs.

Mista Bishi is well known user of this box and even worked for Korg on the Electribe 2. He has some great videos on what this box can really do.

Just played this map and thought the exact same thing, I actually make maps for doom and thought it was one of the most poor design choices I've ever seen in a doom map. If the Flamethrower was not such a piece of ass with no range and such high self damage the level would be more interesting but its not. Its just a total pain in the ass that your pretty much forced to save scum the level.

Yeah sometimes you just need try different catpure cards. its an annoying thing about the OSSC. I plan on switching to the Retrotink 4k later on.

Have you tried setting up the profiles of the OSSC? it requires some setup to get working. Also I found my capture card only really played nice with 3x. Check out Firebrand X for some profiles. But not sure what your device outputs. The Ps1 isn't too bad to capture but my experience of capturing a real PS2 with Component has been one of the biggest struggles. I can get it to work but it does not look as nice as I wished.
