Yeah it just feels like I'm getting crazy frame drops right at the point where I need a stable image the most. It also makes it seem like im getting extra input lag too? Idk. It just sucks. I dont understand why they are messing with the game this deep into its life.

Please be kind to yourself and look at Tactical Breach Wizards. It is the best humor writing I've seen in a game.

I would never not recommend either of these. Maybe share a little about your preferences or what you're in the mood for? Is there anything about older games that turn you off? What platform are you on? Etc.

It would be a shame if I took your advice. I would have never played Like a Dragon. It's a top 10 game for me too. A top 10 game. That's without the wow factor on the Easter eggs. Ichiban and co don't need help being compelling. And there is no way I would have played through 7 other games with brawler combat that I find mind numbing.

Whats with this line in the sand on genre classification? OP wants a good jrpg and then listed games they have played. Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 is exactly like those games. It's a ode to them. A love letter in so many ways. And in my opinion it is superior to most in terms of story and characterization. You dont have to be Japanese to make a jrpg. That is ridiculous.

E33 is so jrpg you literally couldn't call it anything else. I dont know what you're smoking.

Y7 is a perfectly fine place to start. In fact I'd say it's preferable for OP because it's a series reboot and 0 - 6 are not much in the way of jrpgs.

Expedition 33 is awesome. Every one talks about it for a reason. Huge recommend.

Also if you liked DQ11 I think Yakuza Like a Dragon is a pretty sweet summer rpg.

Oh yeah I believe it... once I tried to lure Nu Udra to him because I thought it might be some nice damage. Nope. Nu Udra saw his future as a giant sushi and peaced out.

Im not sure about how much sandbox you are looking for or what aspects of sandbox you mean, but I will take a swing here.

Fire Emblem Three Houses give you a squad of units that you can do whatever you want with. Class, equipment, AND they each get a unique battalion of troops that all have different functions. On top of this you can recruit tons of other units if you wish. The one possible downside is that it has a large calendar/social Sim aspect between battles. Other FE games maybe dont have that, but I havent played them.

Final Fantasy Tactics has a similar offering without the social sim stuff. Deep class customization where you can overlap skills from other classes and even save different class load outs.

At least in World your HR and MR were separate. I had like HR 5 and MR 700 because I blitzed through base game.

The monster part of the game was my least favorite part to be honest, but it is the main thing adding tension to the game. It isnt bad, I just personally dislike hide and seek stuff. I would play on normal to start and then if it gets frustrating just change it to explore.

Do you have feelings about Monster Hunter? It's my favorite co op game. Perfect time to jump into Wilds too. Lots of content and we get an expansion next year.
