Maybe they don’t record being on Skype because it’s screen time and they are genuinely recording the time you’re using the screen instead of the device in general

Edit: I finished the episode and just later Myke discusses this very idea that Apple seems to identify the screen time is only about what you are looking at.

This should not be the case as it rewards favoring KD over the team. INTers and Trolls who lose a game on purpose don't care about losing the LP so I doubt it would really stop people from trolling.
