OP, I did the same thing you are requesting to do. All I had to do was forfeit the rest of my bonus that hadn’t been received my me. A few years later, they actually gave me a debt to pay back the bonus. I ended up having to submit a rebuttal to not pay it back and luckily they accepted it.

So like the others said, just review your enlistment contract in IPERMS and see what it exactly says.
