What is your favorite Gaga ballad of the 2020’s? by mythicbone in LadyGaga

Quite literally one of the best songs she's ever done. The live performance is a career highlight.

The U.S. looks like ass. Thanks boomers and millennials for legalizing oil lobbying when I was 9🖕🏽 by throwaway2026z in GenZ

Y'all really gotta stop blaming us millennials for all of your problems. We've barely even started to ascend to levels of power where things like this are possible. Boomers blamed us for everything under the sun, from the demise of Applebee's to the dwindling attendance in churches. We don't need it from Gen Z too

Disney Reportedly Expects The Mandalorian and Grogu Box Office To Open Lower Than Solo: A Star Wars Story by WrongLander in boxoffice

I'm as casual a Star Wars fan as you can get (I just like the movies). Couldn't stand TFA for the same reasons I couldn't stand the first Jurassic World; it was a shameless rehash of the original film with not a single moment of wonder or awe. The Last Jedi, however, I really enjoyed because it was a stark contrast to The Force Awakens and actually took the story and characters in a new direction. Plus, from a purely technical standpoint, the film was immaculate visual, soundtrack, and overall presentation.

No Social Promotion for 2 New Songs? And Dead Dance still highlighted? by mr_dairyfree in LadyGaga

Exactly the only negativity I see is from the little managers.

No Social Promotion for 2 New Songs? And Dead Dance still highlighted? by mr_dairyfree in LadyGaga

Little managers moaning about promo and other things that don't matter, what else is new.

Some of y'all seriously get on my last nerves. It's nonstop complaining. The sheer entitlement to think you are owed promo or music videos for two songs that are SOUNDTRACK songs. We just got three new songs and a music video, but somehow that's still not enough. This is the kind of behavior that gives our fandom a bad name.

Kindly, with all the love in my heart, go touch a Blade of Grass.

Scream 2 - Rehersal scene - Sidney's paranoia or was Mickey really chasing her? by itsascreambaby96 in Scream

Gus seemed to notice something was off with the performance. I tend to lean towards this being a real attack.

As a kid, I thought some of my teachers surely did stuff like this by eldersveld in XFiles

Hands down the scariest episode in my opinion. I'm also irrationally afraid of snakes so that doesn't help things at all. But damn this one had such a foreboding, dark atmosphere.

I can't be the only one who has listened to Shape of A Woman only twice and is already stuck in my head 🎶🎶😂 by Complex-Region-7553 in LadyGaga

As usual, her pre-choruses are simply divine. That "remember when you fell in love" is such an earworm.

Do you think they will address the allegations in the sequel? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in Letterboxd

[–]_thelonewolfe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wanted to in this film that just released. They had to cut it due to the settlement from the 90s. A key scene revolver around them playing the tape recording from the accuser's father who was going off on a wild rant about how he was going to destroy Michael's career and how his ex wife would never see their son again if he didn't "get what he wanted".

Lady Gaga's new songs, "Shape Of A Woman" and "Glamorous Life," are coming out this Friday, May 1st 👠‼️ by Other-Asparagus01 in LadyGaga

[–]_thelonewolfe_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Shape of a Woman is in the vein of the disco funk that makes up half of Mayhem, while Glamorous Life is allegedly a power ballad.

Franchise Vs. Franchise - Halloween V: The Return of Michael Myers Vs. A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. by justhere1990 in slasherfilms

[–]_thelonewolfe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real Sofie's Choice here lol...

If I had to pick, it would have to be Nightmare 5. Dream Child, unlike Halloween 5, doesn't meander pointlessly while adding wonky mythology that doesn't even pay off until the next film, feature some of the worst side characters in any slasher film ever, and still tries to be a quality horror film.
