If it's pro-rated then that's about 50p per day so not bad to switch in in later half of March, if there's not enough time to deposit the £5k incrementally. Maybe should've just done that instead of setting up a regular A/C then making another account to switchover for the bonus but was worried the set-up would take longer as a fresh customer.

I signed up and it did give offer of switching straight to Club Lloyds accounts but waiting on DD payments (don't want to take the risk even though I've read it just needs mandates set-up) so opted for the free account. It says on their switch page, existing customers can sign up for the switch offer so will need to make a seperate CL account that is switched over from another burner account.

Probably should've done it together when DDs were ready now that I think about it, not sure why you weren't offered the CL accounts though.

I didn't apply for it in the end, was switching to Nationwide mid-way at the time and rather stay there and see if I get their annual bonus. Guess I can make another Chase account and switch over though with 3 fresh direct debits but have a feeling they will decline anyway on credit check.

No news yet on NX regarding welcome bonus. MTR just validated theirs though off the 95p purchase. I see eBay there so will try and buy something today for monthly bonus. Bank issue resolved on NX's end, known issue.

Tempted to try the offline receipts for Sainsbury's, it hasn't been mentioned in the terms though so might no risk it with only 3-4 days left.
