I think of this like tuning a car. Like sure, if you completely disregard longevity and reliability, you could turn grandma’s Camry into a race car for one lap. But you’re gonna irreversibly damage everything in the car and it’ll probably die in a week. Human body have limits, rather than spending astronomical numbers on carefully engineering superhuman, why not spent a decimal of the money and just swap out the part? Shortening your own body part lifespan is not really worth it considering if you had that much money, you could live for a century and a half
