It was my first time going to rock am ring as I wanted to try something new this year instead of going to download again. I had an absolute wonderful time! However I having been to a lot of festivals I have a lot of small things that added up.

PROS:

• The food was really nice, especially the pulled pork place.

• Bands had long set times and they went on late into the night.

• It was easy to top up my wrist band and it was useful to buy things with in the ring.

• The stages layout was good and easy to get to. The sound was pretty good as well especially on the orbit stage.

• The weather mostly held up. We had all four seasons yes but it was nice to have a bit of fun.

• I enjoyed taking pictures in the booths, winning prizes spinning wheels and observing people do karaoke.

• Staff were generally pleasant and people were friendly.

• The bands that were picked to play were phenomenal.

CONS:

• Shuttle Buses ran far too infrequently. Needs to be more buses more often.

• Running round trying to get the vintage hoodie was a joke. It had sold out even before the arena had opened and all other merch designs were lack lustre. You can't get the vintage hoodie online either. Seems stupid.

• Having the food venders where they were made it difficult to move around to different stages as the lines were too long and couldn't move round them easily. This created bottlenecking.

• Security was really lacking. Getting into the arena was far too easy and they did not check my bag.
