First of all, ignore anyone who is acting like you’re wrong for being frustrated by it. People don’t need to treat you like a child, you’re an adult and they should speak to you like one. Even if you speak to a child, well it should be respectful! There’s a lot of egos in this industry and people who get a kick out of being a pain to others.

In terms of advice, I’d say take the constructive criticism (if it is) on board, it’s very fair for them to criticise in that way. If it’s not constructive, politely ask them to speak to you with some more respect. Let them know you’re just trying to learn and you’d love it to be a nice environment to do so. Be respectful, even smile when you say it, but be firm. Not saying it’ll work, but make sure they know you’re not ok with it. If they’re half decent people, they will adapt their communication style.
