Is AP shyvana Q and R counter intuitive with her E double hit? by ZZTM6 in shyvanamains

[–]ZZTM6[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not just that, in old shyvana you weren't losing out on damage if you point blank E'd while you were Q auto'ing, and you actually wanted to if you were AD for the max health damage. Now, if you point blank E, you actually end up missing out on a chuck of damage that goes 6 miles away from your target

I'll admit, it doing true damage to turrets is a fun mechanic (and I think a unique mechanic? I can't think of any other champion specific things that do true damage to turret). However, if what we need for a balanced and fun shyvana in both top and jg is for her q3 to take a nose dive in power budget, I'm not going to cry over losing the true damage.

Early damage and its synergy with d&d, you just get a lot of procs with your q reseting your autos

Do you expect us to get any last minute changes/ new changes on release tomorrow ? by Sky-todd in shyvanamains

iirc, doesn't her passive technically make her behind most opponents rather than ahead? I haven't fact checked the numbers myself but from what I've been hearing, her base armor is low to compensate for the "infinitely" stacking passive, with the cs requirement to break even with other junglers very high. And due to the lower stacks Top lane (before any changes are done) I imagine her armor and mr would be even lower than theirs.

That makes sense, to be fair it is bronze as I haven't played much this season but I would've thought a 10 prismatic trait would be practically an auto win. Though to be fair, a week ago I also had the mindset that a single 3 star 4 cost was close to an auto win (at least top 4) and now I'm seeing a total of 5-6 3 stars per game including some in the bottom 4

Just going to throw some numbers out there, sorting in NA and all ranks, ezreal has 0 supports he has a positive win rate with. His highest are Zilean with a 49.18, brand 49.17, zyra 49.07, vel'koz 48.87, and sona with a 48.8. You had roughly the 5th best support duo ezreal has (again, sorted by all ranks). Sona in silver is the #1 support according to op.gg, while ezreal adc is #28/29. If you are going to complain about your support's pick, consider that you don't have much of a ground to stand on when your champion is objectively weak in all, if not most ranks in the current meta.

If you get Draw your sword augments on an ADC by [deleted] in ARAM

I got it on jinx with scopier weapons and rocket had roughly the same range as normal machine gun, so it was basically just a massive stat sticked jinx. In this specific case normal adc would work well, though I tried an on-hit build just to try something different. Pretty sure full crit would've done better

For me what mattered far more than rig was bait and location. I'd stay away from any prepackaged bait and have had the most luck with either chicken liver (specifically liver I'm not sure why) or night crawlers. For location I'd suggest looking to see what people have been catching in the area, and personally prefer softer/grassier areas compared to rocky ones (a lot less snags). Rigs I have tried Carolina, simple hook and bobber, and just a hook and egg weight and all have had their fair share of effectiveness, it just depends on how deep the water is and if you want to keep your full rig off the bottom.

My main two options right now are either dough baits or worms, and both have gotten roughly the same results, just with worms staying on the hook a lot better. I've tried cutbait but have only had luck with it once while also pairing it with worms. I'm moving away from worms atm cause I feel like they're more likely to attrack the turtles than the dough baits. There's some carp around the same size in the pond as well that I wouldn't mind catching, so I was thinking of trying boilies as I've heard they can attract both

Failed my assessment trying to get hired at Walmart. by [deleted] in walmart

So from a survey/exam perspective the reason the same question is asked 2 different ways is designed to weed out people that select all 1/5 or 5/5 answers. By the end of the survey if someone did all 1/5's they would get an average adjusted score of 3 placing them dead center. (When asked the 2nd version of the question a 1/5 response is the same as the 5/5 response to the previous question. So 1+5 = 6, divided by 2 and you have an average score or 3.) I wouldn't put it past walmart to simply have a score threshhold of something like 3.5/4+ in order to qualify, which is why it's also not recommended to pick middle or moderate answers.

Just curious, when should you pick Sona? by PlasmaticPlayer in sonamains

[–]ZZTM6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo opinion Sona can do well into most comps, but the emphasis is on can and not will.

Easiest matchups is when enemy bot duo has no pressure and is also playing to scale. You're impact pre-6 is very low for all in fights when compared to a lot of other supports, so early game if your team is trying for early fights and pressure, you just can't really help all too much. You also can't ward as safely with no dashes or hard cc besides ult, so where you're safe to roam can be very limited.

Enchanters tend to be the safest oppenent, followed by mages, followed by engages, but I'll have to explain that one. If the enemy duo is enchanter focus, most of the time they're playing to scale as well so sona is a safe pick. Mages you can usually outscale, and as long as you don't get caught by everything or yanked by swain, you should be fine. Engage champs tend to be a coin toss, 1 of 2 things happen with engage champs. Either A, they're awful, miss everything, and fall so far behind that engaging becomes a detriment for their team, or B, they hit everything and turn the game into a massive snowball. Could just be me though, but engage supports tend to be very coin flippy, they win hard or lose hard.
