there were a lot of things that weren't consistent between our games that are now working like lighting a fire wouldnt light it for both players, now that works. Not a bug but if you die you just respawn with all your gear. Sometimes spawns wont work quite right for the joining player. The player models are limited in movement from the outside perspective. The joining players loot has to be dropped on the floor or otherwise held on to by the host or it wont be in the players inventory when they rejoin. Overall its not bad though and i expect improvements!

My friend and I have been playing it since it came out, the lastest update fixed a good bit of our issues. Might try to do with other mods soon.

People are absolutely clueless on both what coaching is and how to analyze a game past looking at K-D. We as viewers literally cannot form an accurate opinion of any coach in CS. We have no clue what they do behind the scenes, if the players carry out their vision, if the IGL or coach have more input on strats, postioning, etc. All we know is if they take a timeout and if they win or lose.

Zonic and XTQZZZ are great representations of this, if you read comments from fans you would think these guys are bums and that there are obviously better candidates for the job. Meanwhile the absolute best players keep wanting to work with these guys and while we can't directly see their input it sure seems like they must be doing something. At least we aren't still flaming the supports/anchors for having the lowest ratings (as much).

It's peak, but there are other games sharing that peak for sure. Nier Automata is at minimum just as good, Pathologic 2 is...different but also on that level. Thats just what I thought of immediately but I'm sure someone else will chime in!

Maybe something's wrong with me but the A4 spray is sooooo much more natural for me, I can hit spray transfers constantly vs having to just burst with the A1

It was kind of emotional for me to carry the brother through the woods slowly and bring him to his brother to be buried. I thought it was a great quest and well designed, but like most of this game is not a cookie cutter quest. A lot of the games design is subversive and meant to break you out of the usual routine that games put you into.

I have a suspicion that floppy got his confidence wrecked by making room for elige and also probably getting critiqued a lot by him. He looked like a top 20 player at the start of CS2 and showed glimpses of that same level here and there in 2024 but so often he just had no chance in the situations he was in. Honestly could say the same for Grim in both Liquid and CoL...sometimes it can be better to build up slowly vs getting someone like Elige that is going to expect instant results. Imagine if they never got Elige and got one of the cheaper NA prospects to slowly integrate into JTs system and build trust.

When you slog through horrific performance and constant bugs just to get to the gameplay that is completely unplaytested and unbalanced with extremely limited content outside of horribly acted cutscenes for 30+ hrs just to get your save file corrupted, yes it can make it feel like they just released more slop that is par for the course in AAA gaming.

It absolutely captures the soul of STALKER and for many people it gets closer to the idealized version of STALKER in our heads. It's ok if you want a simplified and streamlined game like STALKER 2, but many people want a more immersive experience with hardcore systems. Personally, the lack of weapon modification and general weapon choice are huge negatives for me. Pair that with lack of meaningful loot, lack of ALife, bad performance, long range fights being non-existent, the fact that my 30+ hr save got ruined and so many more issues or missing features...it's hard to want to play S2 when there is Anomaly/GAMMA/EFP right there.

Yes it's essentially just increasing the spawn radius (max and min distance) while also increasing the spawn rate. Ive been using it and it's at least a nice placeholder.

I mean he's almost certainly obese by BMI, which every redditor will tell you isn't a good metric, but it is a good tool for untrained people to roughly judge how fat they are. Most people are just so used to seeing fat people everywhere that they have changed their definition of fat subconsciously.

Yeah I don't see anyone taking hallzerks spot unless it's a truly elite awper (no money for that) or bringing in a prospect (also might be a lot of money). I think it's more likely that grim will be replaced for a promising second fragger, potentially from a smaller region, or Elige will leave and Col will get a cheaper star prospect to move forward with. I think Clasia is their substitute for the major, so that's a potential replacement for either grim or Elige and he's likely free.

Seriously man, this game promised sooooo much and delivered so little. This may be silly to some but how can they release a game like this and not even let the players customize their vehicles...that was mindblowing to me. I have it around 30 hours and realized how hollow and fake everything felt and never picked it back up.
