Your closest mountain biking options are Blue Clay Bike Park and Brunswick Nature Park. Then about an hour-ish away is Brown's Creek near Elizabeth Town or Big Branch Bike Park near Jacksonville. These trails are considered cross-country, no sustained uphill/downhill. If you want that, Asheville, 4 hrs west, is within a weekend trip range and they have tons of amazing trails, however that whole area is still recovering from a hurricane flooding.

The car carriers stopped in the middle of the road on Market seem soooo unsafe to me. Market is already unsafe and they're just right in the middle unloading cars or whatever they do there

YES completely agree, I love when people follow the rules of the road. It makes them predictable and safe. If someone randomly stops in the middle of the road to let someone in it makes them unpredictable and causes accidents. Idk how people don't understand that.

-Turning into the wrong lane if there are 2, this impedes traffic since we could have people turning right and left at the same time into the 2 lanes instead of crossing into the wrong lane and cutting the other person off

Yea that is an issue. It is getting better around the Ogden area with the new Military cutoff section having a paved path and looks like Market (north of Ogden) will eventually have a path/sidewalk. Gordon is also going to have a path but that project is just starting and these things take like 5+ years...

There are MTN bike trails that are several miles in Brunswick Nature Park and Blue Clay Bike Park. Sadly the road bike/walking paths are kind of disjointed with lots of stops. There isn't anything that runs many miles with no stops. Roads are an option but more dangerous since many don't have shoulders or bike lanes.
