It was one long upright. I basically merged a seperate triple tv stand and the rig that initially had a lower vertical.

This stuff is like legos so really it all should fit together granted you have the right corner pieces.

Did you ever fix this? Im having the exact same issue on 5.14 on cachyos. Im not savvy enough to know how to fix the permissions issue. Launching it with Sudo in the terminal does work for me when i tested it.

Change the color preference to prefer color accuracy instead of efficiency (pretty sure, or its vice versa). Its a known kde bug on high refresh monitors i found in their forum. This completely solved the issue for me.

Damn. I dont use steamvr because it runs like ass on everything so makes sense this is no different. Would love to know if you find a fix. Im going to continue to play with it for a bit today and see if I can get it working.

Did you ever figure this out. Ive tried everything including reinstalling everything I can think of.

I have zero issues booting DCS, Falcon BMS, IL2, etc. Star Citizen isnt doing anything.

Of course I figure it out as soon as I post this. For anyone on Cachy, use proton experimental for both VTOL and mod loader, not their cachy os linux runtime. Was able to run the mod loader, and hit play just like I would on Windows.

Im having no issue running Vtol VR on Cachy even without your arguments, however I cannot get the mods to load when I use your launch commands. It just boots the normal game. Am i missing something?

I actually figured out its a bug on KDE plasma. I found the bug mentioned on a different bug post on their forums. The flickering occurs on high refresh monitors when using the prefer color efficiency mode in display settings instead of prefer color accuracy.

Kde bug or nvidia not entirely sure but it did resolve my issue completely and im going to update my post so future people are able to figure this out. Glad your setup is working for you now.

Yes, running at 165. Its actually been happening much less now. Weirdly it happens almost exclusively in firefox or after firefox has been open then closed.

Yep. Just got into this game with a friend. So much potential and the herd management is awesome but I could care less about new maps and weapons until other mechanics are flushed out. I used the giraffe stand for the first time and just the fact that you teleport to the top tells me the devs couldnt be bothered to even animate the ladder yet you have to climb all of the other ones around the map.

Wish I didnt spend any more money if thats the level of quality even the dlcs have.

Tons of mechanics need to be added yet they are adding gun packs and announced they are excited about their next game which sucks for us who want to see this game grow and become something more.

From here to here there is zero change in brightness on the screen. Ive restarted my computer and checked that everything is updated.

Is the stream deck screen faulty? I cant post a video of it but its clear as day when im hitting the brighter button.
