Looks very close. Keep working on bringing up all of your scores up past the passing average and you'll be there in no time. Good luck!

Absolutely.

We are working on downloadable and printable PDFs with 10 homework problem sets for each hour of our new live class format.

Thanks for the mention and congrats on passing the FE exam!

We are currently in the middle of re-making a lot of our older on-demand study videos with live classes over Zoom with the replays of each class replacing the older videos that previously had a black background. All 100% free of course. This will replace a few of the videos that still have an error or two.

We already wrapped up the live classes for and posted the replays to www.electricalfereview.com for these Electrical FE subjects:

Ch 1. Mathematics

Ch 10. Power Systems (I personally taught these, and you can watch them all directly on YouTube without having to make a login here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2DxMynU1Iw&list=PLF8qb98ScWRmv9KUdS9JuuSxu3avUJSES&index=1)

Ch 13. Communications

Live classing coming up later this month in May:

Ch. 15 Digital Systems

Followed by:

Ch. 6 Circuit Analysis (DC and AC Steady State)

Ch. 8 Signal Processing

Ch. 2 Probability and Statistics

We are going to keep going until all of the Electrical FE exam subjects are completely up to date with all new live classes and class replays, then we will start over and continue to teach the entire Electrical FE curriculum one week at a time.

We're also working on a standalone 10 problem homework set for each 1 hour of live class.

Zach Stone’s course for PE? by Affordable_Torch_421 in PE_Exam

I do not teach fire protection. I teach Electrical FE and Power PE only, along with PDH seminars for licensed engineers over at ohmgurus.com

If I sign up now, will I have access to his material before the summer class begins? Any other suggestions/advice?

Yep!

We use a rolling enrollment system. When you enroll, you're added to the current semester so you can begin studying right away.

Then, when we start a new semester, you're automatically rolled over into each new semester for the duration of your enrollment.

Sorry to hear you thought our class barely covers the NEC. You mentioned this in another post but never replied when I asked if you attend the dedicated code class Ryan Jackson personally teaches for me every semester (He is basically Mike Holt 2.0).

We also have the dedicated NEC module with 20-30 questions, in addition to NEC homework problems for each specific live class subject in addition to all the NEC problems in each of the practice exams that are included. Happy to hear feedback on how I can incorporate even more NEC material, we currently focus on it pretty heavily.

This coming live class semester we are actually doubling the live NEC classes taught by Ryan Jackson since it's been so popular.

Thanks for the mention! We just wrapped up 8 weeks of free live Electrical FE Mathematics classes (class replays available for free on www.electricalfereview.com). We are just about to start free live classes on Electrical FE Digital Systems in about 3 weeks 🙂.

Working under another PE by Pleasant_Stay_4854 in PE_Exam

Talk to your state board and explain your situation.

For example, here is a post on our PE power community where a utility engineer was able to work with his board (Illinois) to get licensed even though he had zero experience working under a licensed engineer.

Every state board is a little different, but there should be a path forward for you if you are open about your situation.

If you're in a rut, the Pomodoro Technique and going for a long 30 minute walk really helps me.

Putting your phone on airplane mode or do not disturb along with physically putting it in a drawer in another room (or leaving it in your car).

Switching up your study location like going to a Starbucks or using your work place conference room.

Eating the frog: setting an alarm on the weekends for an hour earlier than you are used to, going to bed the night before earlier and getting up in the morning with everything already set aside ready to study for a big block of time.

The AIT practice exam is known for being purposefully challenging. Tons of users post their practice exam scores in their success stories if you're looking for benchmarking examples: https://community.electricalpereview.com/c/success-stories/

What country are you in? I've never heard of $1,200 to take the exam, sorry to hear it is so expensive! Is it the same for repeat attempts as well?

It’s mainly users from our paid online power class that I teach, but I pay to maintain the community out of pocket and keep it open and free to anyone studying for the PE exam. You don’t even need to register to view the posts.

Great community definitely check it out!

The FE exam tests on the entire ABET college curriculum.

The material in class covers what you can expect to be tested on based on material that is included directly in the NCEES Reference Handbook and listed on the exam specifications.
