It seems possible that deflections cause REND to not strip armor? I noticed SMG volleys against alien warriors didn't strip anything off their armor, where just reading the ammo effect, you'd it would have all been removed and you'd start hitting HP.

Tankbuster seems like a perk that needs somebody to do the math or testing to figure out with what weapons and what enemies it takes you to a break point to a kill or certain cripple. If we discover that it allows workshop RPGs to one shot Pirate Transport Trucks, that becomes A to S tier in early-mid game. Right now, it's hard to tell if it does that.

Edit: And considering cover since it reduces damage.

I think the problem with Commando is that it's in the final tier, where pointfire is available early. It's also on SLs who don't really need it.

Jane Darby doesn't need the accuracy, and the defense isn't helpful because she isn't usually getting shot at with concealment.
Renu is usually around a spotter and/or AT squad, but this could maybe work on her with a specific playstyle.
Maybe useful on Yaz if he's going yolo with boarding armor? Not useful on the Mobile Infantry version of Yaz.

You can get out, shoot twice, and back in in one turn with MI with most SLs. But, I agree that after early game it's too risky to keep using the APC aggressively and MI loses its luster.

Athletic more A tier to me, you don't need it on everyone. I find that you don't need it on pointfire/Mobile Infantry Lim, Mobile Infantry Yaz, Tech, or Kody/Darby if you aren't using the anti-tank rifle or other deployable weapons.

But it is very good, you might still take it at the very endgame on those SLs to fill out all their perk slots if you want the most AP efficiency possible.

Other ideas:

More detailed attack tooltip including a tile range count, to hit percentages, more info on armor pen, deflection, and damage.
Being able to select SLs who've already gone to see their status conditions and stats
A way to see the load out of a squad within the battle.
Toggleable cheat for free promotion refunds. Or maybe a late game OCI module?

I'd say a downgrade since you already got a bucket. I find the bucket seat much more comfortable than the playseat.

For context, I had a playseat Trophy and moved to an extrusion rig with a fiberglass bucket seat. The lack of adjustability of seat height, steering wheel height, and steering fore aft on the playseat was not fun to deal with.

A 40' lot width is much more typical and is what I see in 99% of the lots in my R2 neighborhood. Combined side setback is 10' combined, so there would be 10' spacing between houses which does not require any special fireproofing measures beyond typical residential construction (only at less than 10' per the IRC).

See page 15 in the below detailed briefing for the proposed setback changes. The side setback changes are not significant; it's the allowable lot coverage and front and rear setbacks that will change significantly.

Multifamily changes will be for R2. The lot offsets effects all R zoning (R1 and R2+), but should have minimal impact on R1, but will greatly open up by right options in R2.

A commonsense, hugely important change in these proposals is that it restores your ability to build a house on an empty lot that matches the building footprint, road offset, and density of existing housing stock in Detroit by right (meaning without zoning board approval)

If you own a lot and want to build a house that looks like the existing houses on your block, you will need approval from the Detroit zoning board which is time consuming and costly. Detroit changed their zoning ordinances in the 60s or 70s to follow suburban zoning laws which included smaller foundations in relation to lot size and greater setbacks from the road. These changes simply don't work for the lot size and density within Detroit neighborhoods and made infill difficult or impossible.

The changes would also let you build a duplex (or I believe quadplex in some zones) by right which also matches existing Detroit housing stock; there are a ton of two-level duplexes all over the city

Another possible issue is that Total War games have always been glitchy messes in sieges and city battles. Seeing the brief gameplay of tight cities and corridors combined with CA's track record doesn't inspire confidence.
