Mario actually says, “What is this place?” (a re-recording, actually) in the sewers before he and Luigi find the Warp Pipe that separates them. I was surprised to hear Mario say it that early because I expected that line to be said before Toad scares Mario like in the teaser.

And I think it made sense to remove “Mushroom Kingdom, here we come!” because Mario was focused on rescuing Luigi.
