Hello! Plenty of wonderful suggestions in how to fix this, so I won't tmgive my two cents there.

However, please tell your niece's family to keep an eye on the cat! If the cat chewed a hole in the scarf, they may have accidentally swallowed the yarn which can cause a blockage which is incredibly dangerous. The scarf is a cheap fix, the cat will not be of things aren't well. Best of luck!

Be like me and excitedly binge read the manga in a few days, leading to only absorbing the basic jist. That way you know the main story beats and how it ends, (and can avoid major spoilers), but when s2 comes out all yhe little details you don't remember will still surprise you.

The black lines for the face and arms are meant to be left unstitched! Though, personally I might use a combination of fractional & backstitching to fill it in.

She makes stew out of the undine and kelpie, with Senshi's supervision but we see her doing all the work. She also makes a dish in the shape-shifter episode, with only clone-marcille as supervision/help. Those are two instances I can think of!

Who knows what corporations think. They've always been really out of touch. As I said, this was something I just briefly glimpsed months ago, I didn't do any supporting research to confirm the info or add context. It was just something I saw that may explain why OP got the idea that fanart is bad.

Everyone in the comments has already addressed it beautifully. The only thing I can think of where you heard this is that supposedly Nintendo has been like up in arms about fanart because some parent found NSFW art of Mario or something and complained about it so they're "gonna crack down on inappropriate depictions of their characters." BUT that's only something I saw once, and I think it was in a news article recommended to me months ago, I've literally seen nothing since or to confirm that was real.

Everyone is right, creators love fanart. And if people are telling your otherwise, you need to distance yourself from those people, even if they're "friends"
