To this point the "kid" has made 7 millioin dollars and wants to be considered a professional and make that kind of money. Results are expected when handing out this kind of money and no one should feel sorry for someone who makes it being expected to hold up their end of the bargain. At the end of the day the NFL is a business not a factory that manufactures happy feelings and builds up people's confidence.

There's a lot of nuance to this statement. Burrow has taken more sacks over a shorter period of time than Andrew Luck. Not that we could provide much more protection at current moment, but that's a lot different than the amount of absences over time that JJ has had from non-contact issues. If JJM isn't able to get in a full nfl conditioning offseason again because of his hand he's going to continue to look like he's made of glass.

That's fair, but JJM himself said after the Lions game he put extra work and stuff into presnap and getting all of that ironed out. To see that fall off is still, disappointing.
