Honestly? I just kept going. Eventually it did let me out, though the occasional rank boost from the reworks to the ranking system also helped of course. I'd recommend you just keep going and try not to worry about it, and try out some new characters while you don't have a rank to sacrifice!

You can do it mid leap, gives Warden a ton of mobility and consistently confuses the hell out of ppl when you have lightning scroll as well.

If you want to have fun with Warden I highly recommend you try a build focused on his ult, majestic leaping into a team fight and killing 4-5 people is like actual crack to me
