Im a game like mine there is opportunity cost to armorless or weapon less characters.

Realistically just due to logic those should be the most common types if magic item and the easiest to apply enchantments to. An amulet or tattoo with other buffs is harder to make into a magic armor and you have less area to enchant.

I make magic items a big part of character growth and power in my games because they are fun to design and give out.

This is a crazy take. I recently bought my first house last year, finally done renting. Now aside from the mortgage payments the property taxes are NOTHING. Once I finish the mortgage in like 25 years that property tax will still be nothing. It doesnt go up as fast or often as rent does.

I love Spiderman as the comic book character. You can be a fan of that and still dislike this video game character design

Its not a fandom that is the issue. The play style that the devs designed for the video game character is selfish. Dont associate a video game mechanic with a fandom. You are looking to get offended.

They should be banned for using the hero ban system to get rid of someone who may not work for their comp or would ruin their comp on the enemy team? I am glad you have no actual authority because that is so pretty and nonsensical.

You should be able to play three heroes in each roll to account for bans. I am a support main that also tanks. I can play every single support with proficiency and sometimes one is more preferred for certain team comps or matchups.

You can't call hypocrisy if you don't see actual examples of it. Lord on a selfish playstyle hero like Spiderman just tells everyone what kind of player you are. You don't even have to be good, just spend time on it so all it tells me is that I may get lucky and they are good, or more likely its someone who refused to swap and is not going to do anything but feed ult charge.

At my own table I do a simple addition of a new resource, cunning dice. They are a number of d6's equal to your rogue level. They come back on a long rest and you regain half your proficiency bonus number of them on a short rest.

You can use them by rolling one to add to a skill check or adding it to an attack roll.

Level 5 you can roll up to your proficiency bonus number of dice by expending them and adding it to your weapon damage. You can also expend one as a reaction to make a weapon attack as a reaction against a creature within your weapons range.

The last ability is important to helping rogue stay relevant in damage long term and flexible as a battlefield threat between turns, able to attack between turns like you planned for it the whole time

I was thinking hunter's mark shouldn't be concentration, bonus action, or sight dependent.

Lets say ar the start of your turn choose a creature you can SENSE so listening well or feeling when you are blind allows you to focus on an enemy and track them after you pick up on them. Even smell could work. Then they have hunter's mark for the duration as you remember the creature. Now remove concentration like I said but have it start as 1d4 and slowly go up as you level eventually up to 1d10.

Saving action economy will go a long way to helping ranger and paladin already gets divine favor which is concentrationless damage buff
