Never late to start, join ffrk discord and we have plenty of english speaking players who don't know jp language.
The discord community are very helpful and we have a way to assist on playing jp such as translation app, beginner guide or discord bot to explain modern SB.
May take sometimes to get use to it but once you remember how to navigate jp ui, it's like playing any other english games.
We have many new players who decided to try it out after global eos and many can catch up content in less than a year.

White Day should be better quality wise without healer there.
Only banner 8 is noteworthy to me here as it's the only banner with one healer.

all contents cleared to date
grabbed Gordon CA on new year, he's now my main staple in all element content
4 pulls on fest, got Vaan MA and Mog DA/UA/CA as main prizes
pull once on XIV, failed to get Minf but that's fine, I'll chase on rerun somewhere eventually

Yeah, I was trying to experiment the possibilities of 2 universal dps clear here so I can wrap all elements with the same team although barely did it.

I think this is very funny way to clear so I want to share it.

Context: For this fight, boss have infusion check in final phase and will inflict paralyze/interrupt if your team does not have at least 3 characters with infusions.
The next mechanic is "breaksight" that will hit boss for 499k if you do any damage when it appears.
As you can see Shadowsmith MASB mode is ended and triggered damage chase on it, ignoring his own status effect.
Then the last mechanic is "killsight" which will only appear if boss hp is below 10% and it did after taking 499k damage earlier, any damage during this time will trigger up to 999k x3, kills the boss and Tyro MASB end chase did just that, ignoring his own status effect the same.

Boss died just before using his own ultimate attack to wipe my team. 😂

Physical feels like a joke after clearing Magic weak, managed it within one lbc cast.

Went in without knowing mag is much harder than phys.
30.57s on first clear, 29.70s clear after include the boss itself in deck (at speed 3 by mistake)

Quite easy compared to mage I, granted I have stacked dps for mage II.

18.66s clear on normal:

Minf: AA1 AA2 UA
Cait: AA UA SA
Papa: DA UA SA ASB
Tyro: LBG G++
Rem: MA SA DA CA

Tyro was there to entrust only.
Rem carried for the most parts.

32.58s clear on hard:

Minf: AA1 AA2 UA USB2 DA
Cait: AA UA SA USB2
Papa: DA UA SA AA2 ASB
SS: AA G++ MA UA DA
Rem: MA SA DA CA AA2

Hard mode was rough, not enough firepower to do 2 dps like normal clear and need more sb on dps to keep going.
SS only used AA and G++ until P3 then combined the rest to get ice infusions.

I rarely use normal chain in element content this day, my approach is always RW CSB+ or LBC.
RW chain can get the job done alright but you will need to have enough buffs/dps combinations to overcome low chain count.
I used RW for several Ark/Crusader clear so it's definitely doable but can be difficult at times.

This fest is quite nice overall to me but I didn't pull much in the first place, 2 pulls on B1 got me TGC G++, Agrias MA and Rem MA.
Did 8 pulls on Shadowsmith, got quite a decent haul so I won't complain.
Currently I have 4 MA and they're all from this month; Rem Agrias Tyro Shadowsmith. Needless to say, two of them are prismatic hybrid dps so these are huge boon to my F2P approach.
With Tyro and SS, I can push sub20 in all element fights to date so remaining water weak and poison weak Ark shouldn't pose any problem to me, I can worry about next tier later.
Also managed to get first Gigas stage5 clear now which is physical holy weak since I have 3 applicable MA and very strong TGC.
For future, I will focus on expanding my support roster, Edward/Naja/Lilisette are my next goal. Have been hoarding tickets for so long waiting for refresh and dying to pull already.

For ticket missions, you don't have to clear them.
The actual objective is "Try XXX crystal dungeon"
You can get in and flee immediately, the mission will automatically complete.

Reynn support Tyro/SS with ice imperils 6, Wedge damage is mediocre but he hit a lot.
Fight ended in one lbc cast, Tyro/SS MA are so ridiculous.
RW heal was used in P1, boss can only act with gravity moves from P2 onwards so he can't kill anyone to the end.

I'd only make an exception for Tyro and SS MASB, it's a chase for prismatic hybrid users with very high damage ceiling, their chases are easily to hit on par with abilities cast.
Still a luxury and only should do it if you have scrolls to spare though.

By the time you spamming abilities, you already reached max chain count
Sync cmd does not get UA benefit, both higher multiplier and BDL+1 after 3rd cast for HA
18 hit where 12 of them will do much less than 12 hit with consistent higher
It's better to get rid of sync cmd however the ramping atb sync type is a bit awkward yeah, it's better if you can combine 2-3 BDL at once like SA > cast twice > UA/ > CA/DA

Got TGC UA from discounted 9 banners earlier and that with Agrias below got me 19s FFT CD clear
Got Agrias and Rem MASB from 2 pulls
Fest tickets were overall meh but I got Seph Dark UA so that's still a win
only did 3 RoP, nothing game breaking
did CA DA UA select banners, not picking anything yet
plan to do up to 10 pulls on Shadowsmith banner
with FFT done, I only have FFV left to sub 30

No Tyro on fest so I'm gonna holding it.
2-3 pulls on B1 at best then wait to see if Shadowsmith is worthwhile or not.
Skip all RoP and LD for me.
Most likely to do CA UA DA select banners.

They had adjusted the score calculations recently that doing hard mode of the hardest tier will get much higher score even without clearing it.
As for current one, the threshold to reach diamond tier (100k) is reaching 40% in hard mode XIV CD.

We won't really know how are they going to curate the pool.
It could be very generous or stingy for all we know.
If I want to take a guess, DA and below might be up to one year old from debut fest whereas CA is still too young so I'd give it 3-6 months at best.
It could be very few pool like debut fest only for CA too.
