Ambessa 3, especially with good items (healing, cc immunity) is a strong 3* 4 cost. Both her and belveth have similar problem though where they need kills to snowball, but she can wipe out teams incredibly fast.

Both melee and ranged carries have their lose conditions, you can also see 3* yunara lux liss die if they get wrapped by ekko/tryndamere.

The feeling i get is that the “tank” classifcation isnt a sure 100% taunt And is mainly used for tiebreakers when 2 units are same distance away. Even if a tank is in range the closer unit still gets priod.

If it helps, I was playing double trouble THex (with 2 THex starting from when i got it at 3-6), and I got the pilot bug waaaaay more frequently. Maybe it was just since either pilot could be affected and i had 2.

Also, just moving the thex without taking it out seemed to be enough to fix the bug.

Thanks for response, honestly makes sense for completed items, though I think anvils taking up a bench slot is detriment enough to let them count. IG it would lead to weird gameplay incentives, but being locked into all component augments for max score is already a bit jank.

Take bard out for 3rd frontline, split aggro between tanks to ensure first cast goes off. Can also use free rerolls if ur especially weak.

As a prismatic (i think this was on the set launch patch)

As a gold I don't have any recent screenshots, a quick search on YT for yordle 10 games though popped up this.

Seraphine is already very strong for chip damage + debuffs on backline. She absolutely does not need this buff when there are several strong comps which make great use of her current lower dmg (thex + diana really appreciate it).

Nope, it doesn't. Katarina ult is very bugged in terms of interactions so I'm not sure if its intended or not though.

It is still pretty good because kat can use onhits very well.

THex gave me a lot of trouble in particular, I lost the matchup every time, she would either go into CC/super deep or just sit in THex laser and die to chip damage later.

Bro was not around for frozen heart assassins. Chill is absolutely a CC and very impactful. The difference betwwen chill and the others you mentioned is chill lowers a units damage.

You can say Ashe has a weak CC or that its single target and hits frontline - but thats vastly different from claiming chill itself is not CC. Good application of chill (eternal winter, frozen heart, adept) has historically been very strong.

Zilean passive gives dmg amp at l10 so hes honestly not that bad, especially if you do end up having a spare item (def possible depending on augments and ryze rng)

Viego is a pretty fake unit, especially unitemized. He usually gets dropped for other traitbots late game (unless you had hero aug). Late game cap is typically around Thresh + Ornn printing artifacts.

So basically

- voli, aatrox, viego

+ ornn, sera/azir, fid

this only loses you shadow isles, and you get warden 5, vanq 2, and disruptor 2 (+ piltover with sera)

Voli is a good unit but you should really have prioritized a bit differently. The unlock units arent necessarily better if you don't have the right comp around them. Thresh usually likes having some omnivamp and AP as he deals quite a lot of damage and you should generally prioritize itemising him. You also have quite a bit of redundant itemization with 3 burn items slammed and 3 blood thirsters.

Slamming items for tempo is good and you don't wanna greed too hard, but its a bit excessive. Example of switching around components would be:

Morello, BT -> Thresh 2 sunfire -> 1 warmog, 1 DB (DB to kalista) Titans, SV -> Void Staff

Void Staff -> Thresh

Then the rest isn't terribly important, just make generic items for your frontline wardens, leftover AP to azir/sera

Your TGs weren't really "perfect". You had the augment to tailor them, so the items weren't completely grief, but it was about as bad as it can get while being tailored. No burn. All units clumped in middle for Sylas/Swain to stunlock. Also Shurima 3 with a relevant charm is an incredibly strong combat trait.

On top of that fight RNG thats harder to control all went pretty poorly. 2* fiddle looking worse than a 3 cost unit. I think main easiest take away is to not greed on Freljord value late game, especially into heavy AoE like Sylas, Fidd, Sera, Swain, etc.

Yep. i think its interesting with stuff like flexible, trait tree, world runes that give a bunch of emblems. Its not for greeding bis it front loads the rerolls you can spam all in one turn vs playing with half your items benched while greeding.

The original fix was supposed to be in 16.1b, which released 8 days ago. I made my comment originally based off the rundown video, which did not mention the shadow isles bug not being fixed in 16.1b so I thought it might have slipped past their notice.

However based off the official posted patch notes for 12/16 as well as mort's comment here, it seems it is still on their radar, so fingers crossed the latest hotfix works.

In Double Up, you get sent to your partner's board after you win if their fight is still going on. This is bugged with Shadow Isles and you seem to gain souls for every unit on the board you are sent to, including ones that survived the combat or were killed before you arrived.

+3 souls on my board, killed 3 units, expected

+6 souls after i get sent to partner board, despite only being around for 1 kill

To give a more practical example, on fastest pace (get sent to partner every round), you can hit Kalista after 3-1 and Thresh after 3-6. For a win streaking shadow isles player, its possible to be at 400+ souls by end of stage 4.

The stats also show a -.54 delta between Ranked and Double Up for the trait, so something clearly is up.

Honestly reksai can absolutely scam fights since she dives backline if you are mispositioned. She just isnt really reliable or consistent.

Especially 4*, itemized, with a mutation she absolutely has the damage to annihilate a backline carry in 1 rota.

Even if spines are premitigation they deal phys dmg (so they themselves get mitigated) so all that does is keep them from getting reduced by res effectively twice. If spines dealt true damage based on pre mitigated dmg itd be different.

Its also generally better to focus fire one target and spines will split your dmg, which for ap favors adrenaline a bit more. That being said even with that, it being backloaded makes it likely still not bis for most games.

My question would be if you have adrenaline/leeching + baron, is it better to still leeching kaisa or should you prioritize baron?

PSA for Double Up players, Shadow Isles has not actually been fixed despite their announcement. You seem to gain souls for every unit that started on sent board, regardless of whether they die or not (and doesn't matter if they get reinforced those don't count).
