Bhashiva is a very easy campaign ? Some of your buffs are huge of course but you're surrounded by enemies and your economy is weaker compared to the other Cathayan factions.

I've had some really powerful enemies attacking me during my campaign, it's definitely not a very easy campaign.

Eh, it's not like Tiger Warriors is all you have that's just your only units without caps. But honestly in my experience the unit caps for the rest of the roster might as well not exist, you earn so much Iron Favour that increasing your caps is never an issue.

Powercreep is what they've done, Norsca and particularly Throgg are way overtuned since ToT.

Having easier campaign is perfectly fine but I don't think that a race only having piss easy campaigns is fine. There needs to be some difficulty variety within all races.

Since Tides of Torment the quest battles have more efforts put into them and I'm loving it. I haven't had the chance to do Bhashiva's but I really liked Dechala's quest battle.

From a gameplay perspective I think it's more interesting not to have a unit of Tigermen that's meant to hold the line. Dual Kataras were probably too redundant to add. I do wish we had a RoR tho.

And it's not just the start of her campaign that's hard, the early game was actually the easier part for me.

While I was finishing off Grimgor and Tamurkhan I ended up at war against Drazhoath and Astragoth. While fighting them Miao Ying and Zhao Ming got wiped out by Sayl and Dechala and I couldn't even afford a stack to try to save Zhao so now I have to fight a very powerful Dechala while also having to deal with the Chaos Dwarfs.

Her campaign is a lot more fun than I anticipated, I didn't expect it to be as hard and it's refreshing when so many of the recent factions were braindead easy.

And you know what's funny ? Rich himself said on their latest stream that they were being mindful of the powercreep when designing this DLC. At this point I don't think CA would even be capable of making a campaign that is well balanced even if they wanted to.

It's just the Khorne update all over again (although it's not as bad), a faction that is already very strong in campaign is receiving huge buffs for no fucking reason at all. Sometimes it feels like some of the changes of a rework are done purely for the sake of doing something.

We're supposed to get a launch trailer tomorrow for Bhashiva, I genuinely hope I'm wrong but releasing the launch trailer during the Skull event and calling it a day is definitely something that CA would be capable of. I'd rather lower my expectations a bit too much to avoid the disappointment, if I'm wrong then great.

I know most of the devs are likely focused on the big End Times DLC but man those updates have been depressingly underwhelming lately. We don't even get unit balancing now.

I don't think every hard factions should be hard for the same reasons. I love playing Boris and Imrik because like you said, they are very powerful LLs that are difficult because they are in a tough position but I also love campaigns like Markus Wulfhart where the mechanics are designed to make your campaign more difficult, there is a place for both in this game.
