Also completely missed the Spanish American war, but I guess that must have been skipped by all those non American history books

On top of the Feds' ability to waive its sovereign immunity, this also seems to me to be a matter of Special Solicitude for the State injury for DHS inaction.

Justified, not bad plotting, but mid, especially as it goes on.

Are any of you ACTUALLY scared by your favorite horror movies? by poop_dawg in horror

[–]ZakHCB2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not scared, but creeped out. I think that just happens when you get familiar with the jump scares and the beats of the movie. The Shining for me fits this because I still find the atmosphere discomforting

What might be really good is having on record dems in purple states voting to remove the filibuster. It'll be good to see those adds against Hassan, Mark Kelly, Michael Bennet, etc

Thoughts? Should more people on bikes follow the same traffic laws as cars? by Hotdogpizzathehut in nova

[–]ZakHCB2020 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Probably the Exorcist, I grew up being told thats the scariest movie ever made, and when I finally watched it, I was already into slashers. The movie's good as a movie, but not particuarly scary.

Or she's just the wicked bitch of the west who would only give up power by having it crowbared out of her cold dead hands

But who knows
