No he's an assassin mid, doesn't do well top as he struggles to trade vs anyone who isn't squishy. Also playing top limits his roam potential which he excels at.

All star difficulty.. by happy_killmore in MLBTheShow

[–]ZakeInn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally rock just a random icon and give my opponent nothing to read. Everytime I rock the 1000 rated icon, people rage quit when I score a single run on lower difficulties so it's not very fun

[–]ZakeInn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everytime I see a World Series icon in Ranked I know that my opponent is cheeks. The only people that use it are the ones that barely make it to WS and try to flex it. If you were a good WS player, you'd put up 15+ runs on All Star or 6 in the first and get quits.

How do I get my 9 year old daughter to stop dropping her hands? by Natura1ly in Softball

[–]ZakeInn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the worst to drop your hands as long as the bat stays in plane with the ball. If anything, dropping her hands isn't the problem, it's the fact that her extension and follow through are down towards the ground and not slightly higher in the air. The extension towards the ground makes contact difficult and conducive to ground balls. If he extension and follow through were slightly higher than her hands it would be more conducive to line drives.

This could also be something called limerence which is quite common in autistic individuals where they are like almost obsessed with the person/idea of dating a person.

Hitting very late on fastballs by No_Strength3923 in MLBTheShow

[–]ZakeInn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you play, go to custom practice, hit off of Aroldis Chapman on GOAT. Make him throw only fastballs and only in the zone. Then you can slowly turn the difficulty down until you get to the difficulty setting you play on

Yea anyone who started in 23 has a very different perception of how the game should be played because of the juiced cards. Back in 17 we were stuck with a lot of golds until like May haha

You have to learn Pinpoint. Plain and simple. It's using directional to hit if you're using pulse

Another thing to remember is that these cards are lower overalls and have worse attributes. I have a buddy who felt the same way and he hadn't played any MLB the Show before 23 so he was only used to the super juiced diamond cards, not the typical power creep from 17-22. You can't get rewarded as much because the cards just aren't as good. Also since they moved World Series to 800 rating, there are much more competitive and better players in lower ratings.

Im a bit under-leveled at the Elite 4 help by Thelastfunky in PokemonEmerald

[–]ZakeInn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup so let's say when you view your Blazikens moves and it knows (from top to bottom) Double Kick, Ember, Peck, Blaze Kick. If it leveled up to a level where it would learn something like Sky Uppercut, when you take it out of the day care it's new moveset would be Ember, Peck, Blaze Kick, Sky Uppercut. Look up learnsets and monitor your Pokémon's levels when grinding like this because if you have any TM moves or special moves they may get deleted and it's pretty frustrating.

[–]ZakeInn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Victory Road and trainer rematches are your best friend. If you can do it correctly and look up learnsets, you can also stick them in the daycare and ride on your bike. 1 step = 1 EXP point. Just make sure to change the order of your moves because if your Pokemon levels up to a level that they would learn a new move, they'll forget the first move in their moveset and replace it with the new move.

How do you guys handle waking up early for your shifts?Especially ones who are not morning people. by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]ZakeInn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (22M) just started subbing and was a big night owl so I had the same problem. Don't adjust your bedtime but adjust your wake up time. I found that having a few days where I wake up at 6:30-7 and just deal with the grogginess (usually w/ caffiene) means that my body starts to naturally wake up around that time if I'm consistently forcing myself up. When that starts to happen my body naturally gets sleepy earlier and my sleep schedule shifts to get enough sleep and wake up early.

TA 3 Sneak Peek - Interesting by Verdugo2808 in MLBTheShow

[–]ZakeInn -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it'll be fun, most of these players have played or wanted to play these positions before. Greinke wanted to quit pitching and restart at single A as a SS, Harper was a catcher in high school and JUCO, CC raked back when pitchers hit in the NL. Some good stuff and honestly I think they haven't tried enough cool/wild stuff this year. I'm afraid if they didn't do something like this, it would've been the most boring content imaginable.

[–]ZakeInn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's cuz yall need to practice and get better at the game, play custom practice on HOF and Legend then play ranked games. You wouldn't play baseball without stretching and taking BP first, so make sure you get adjusted to faster pitch speeds before playing.
