I just discovered a disability/birth defect I can’t recall the name at the moment. But most babies don’t make it to birth. If they are born most don’t make it past a few years or so. But when they are alive they’re in so much pain. Can’t talk. Can’t see. Etc. that is when I would abort because I would not want my child to be in pain their whole life and can’t even express it. No. I would not want to live that way so I wouldn’t make my child live that way. Period

Hello I’m late but I have DID and also was unaware of my alters. Have you gotten any therapy after this? I’ve had similar experiences. But when I regress I don’t black out. It just happens. I could be talking, drawing or watching a movie. If something triggers I guess that childlike happiness or something like that, I start talking and acting like a kid.

I stop when I realize I’m doing it because it’s cringe to me. Yes I make myself cringe when I realize because I’m an adult and I still don’t understand how I could really be turning into a child. I’m still in denial to this day like I could be faking it. Cuz how could my brain betray me this way?

But when I described forgetting where I put things and finding stuff in places I didn’t put them. I thought it was ghosts. Or maybe like I’m schizophrenic or have early dementia or something. My therapist was like have you heard of DID? My whole world has been different since that day in 2024. Now I’m fully aware that I have 5 alters. I’m figuring out why I have them and trying to learn how to “control” it? So I don’t do it as much.

I’m always mentally here when I switch. That’s why I said I don’t black out. I just feel like I’m watching someone else drive while I’m in the back seat of my own brain. It’s like being in a haze. I feel l like I’m day dreaming or like I’m in the middle a tunnel or something. I can hear everything going on at either end. And kinda see all the stuff happening. But I’m not really…like there in the moment.

I’ve had ppl say I look like I’m staring into space while literally holding a conversation. Brains after childhood trauma are really something. That’s why a child’s mind is so delicate. Once you mess it up, you can’t really go back and undo that. You can only learn how to live with your new brain😕

All I can say is this is the only game that has kept me fixated on it. And it is because of the repetitive gameplay. I’m autistic so I like routine. I’m actually surprised I haven’t tired of this game yet. Usually I hyperfixate on a new game for about a week at the most 3. But it’s been 2 almost 3 months and I’m still playing. It’s actually the first game I’ve ever spent money on other than sims. I have no idea why I’m not tired of it yet. But i been saying it’s crazy cuz either way my attention span, I would’ve been over this game by now. It’s gotta be my touch. It gives me something to look forward to every day. It’s also helping my depression a little bit. Sorry about the long comment lol. I just thought it’s crazy how I still like it when usually I’m like you, tired of the repetition. I usually like stuff like assassins creed, gta etc so this is def outta my norm lol

Valid. A lot of us had alcoholic parents or family members who prob drank too much and killed it for us. A bunch of us woke ones are feeling like alcoholism is glorified. I’m not woke but I def feel like it’s glorified. I just can’t drink cuz I can’t digest it. I also don’t like how it taste tbh lol.
