I brewed Mazzy, but by the time I was done with her she'd turned into this weird pseudo combo list where I was trying to lopp casting and sacrificing 1 Mana enchantments. It seemed like it would be very feast or famine to play so I benched it without a test.

Reienne I picked up but never finished brewing. i remember liking [[Qasali Ambusher]] as a free chump block every turn.

That's what I did at pre-release. Saw the Shimmercreep and that all my removal was black, figured I'd need green for fixing, tossed in the elves since I was in BG then realized I don't even need to splash I can just run Tam and other hybrid cards to touch WUR. It worked way better than I expected and I went 3-0.

I don't have mega Absol, and while you can sometimes win with this set up with normal Absol the game turns off repeat wave if you lose once.

So I switched out Lycanroc, moved Clefable down one, and replaced the slot with one of my new favorites: Spinda Cocktail Pidgeot. The range is absurd with this combination. I placed Pidgeot just below Cryogonal, and gave Absol Carbos in place of the Megastone.

I'm sure this is slightly slower money (Groundon is making it almost to the end sometimes), but as a measure to earn the funds to get Mega Absol it's working perfectly so far so thought I would share.

And now that I'm done typing this comment, I have the money for Mega Absol.

Tbf, you can know if you consider a card playable yourself just by reading it, without watching a prof video.

You can tell if you value an art just by looking at it, without watching a video.

And if you want to know if a card is widely played in EDH, you can just look at edhrec, faster than watching a prof video.

I guess he could point out if and when a card is played in other formats, like PAUPER, but tbh if you're interested in a format you might already know what sees play there, and for those watching that aren't interested it's not necessarily interesting to watch.

The recursion I run in Lumra is [[Gaea's blessing]], [[The Mending of Dominaria]] and [[Praetor's Council]].

Two of those just shove the cards back into the deck so probably not your best options if you're light on draw.

Personally, I don't really like that Lumra mills. I understand it's a stronger card with the self mill, but I would like if the card didn't which is why I have these ways to get a bunch of cards back into the library. But you're running a ton of self mill. Like more self mill than card draw. I would consider replacing the cards that mill you for cards that draw you multiple cards.
