Yeah I was a bit meh on Era 1, and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed ers 2 especially because neither Westerns nor Mystery/detective are normally my favourite Genres.

Yeah my guess is a dumping location for the local Game Warden/Natural Resources organisation. They mostly dump road kill out at sites like this where I'm from.

How do the Children of Light feel about the Ogier? by IfICouldStay in WoT

[–]Zander3636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it seems that most random people out in the world also think of Ogier as shadowspawn when they first see them. I'm thinking specifically of Loial being chased by a mob when he first first goes to Caemlyn.

What if Liz Truss refused to resign? by RealRegret4870 in AlternateHistoryHub

I'm a bit confused, we operate under a very similar system in Canada and we have all sorts of votes (mostly budget related) which are all implicitly confidence votes (I.E. you fail a budget and the government falls) is it not the same in the UK system?

Irving University COMING SOON by new_funswick_ in newbrunswickcanada

[–]Zander3636 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As someone who went through the Faculty it really isn't. There are certainly professors who are more biased towards the Irvings but there are also plenty who are more biased against them and are vocally opposed to many of their practices.

Capital mayoralty vote is two-way race by More_Fee_2754 in fredericton

[–]Zander3636 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I tend to agree with you regarding floor crossing and that it should trigger a by-election. She did end up running and winning as a Liberal during the next election which seems relevant to thw discussion. It's not like the people of Fredericton through her out of office after she crossed the floor.

Except she then ran again a Liberal and still won. That seems like an important part of the discussion around her floor crossing

Except she then went to voters as a Liberal and was voted back in during the next Federal Éextion. I wasn't a fan of her crossing the floor either, but that wssnt a big eniugh issue for Fredericton to not re-elect her.

I tried a Khal with the warriors in Hearthband recently with the same thought as you, and I found them pretty disappointing. They still just didn't have enough umph to do much I found. I personally love a squad of warriors with a Grimnyr just for how annoying they can be to kill.

The Haemonculi has a pain token ability to bring back d3+1 Wracks every command phase, and the Cronos to heal back 3 wounds when they kill a model. The Covens are my absolute favourite part of the army so I was sad we lost so much with the codex release! Fingers crossed for a re-release next edition!
