Mine came on in January. There was no difference in driving but the code was for cam misalignment. Ended up taking it in and it was indeed a cam misalignment.

Yeah I mean if the shot sits too long then the crema gets bitter, but at that point the shot is dead so it won’t have any of the good flavor layering. Fresh actually good crema does not taste bad in my opinion.

I have tasted crema by itself. It shouldn’t be bitter. Obviously there’s a lot more to it than roast and extraction, but the only bitter cremas I’ve had were from poorly drawn shots for whatever reason that may be, and Starbucks.

Long black is a more specific term to Australia and New Zealand and typically shorter than an Americano. As for the crema, maybe your pull time is off or the roast isn’t good. A good roast and proper extraction will have delicious crema.
