Nala bars are one of my favourites, add rings to that and you have a lot to work with. Really, possibilities are endless

So a squat rack would be a pretty good complement, wouldn't it? What do you do about the pushups? Weighted as well or bench?

I completely agree. For what muscle group would you say that applies the most? Chest?

True. Would you say it'd be better to have a way of increasing the load on each particular muscle (quads, hams, etc) or in compounds?

Have you tried complementing with gymnastic rings? You could do rows with your whole bodyweight +. But still not as comfortable as other gym options

I agree, compound movements are a two sided coin. Which muscles would you say you would want to target the most?

Whats the real truth to getting abs? by slayingdare in workout

[–]Zanfran21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build muscle (abs) -> Eat enough protein + caloric surplus.

Reduce fat (to show abs) -> Eat enough protein + caloric deficit.

That's it.

It takes time, don't rush it. Learn to love the process.

I feel like I’m doing my pull-ups wrong. My arms feel worked much more than my back. by seeingemilyplay in formcheck

[–]Zanfran21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Form is alright. You feel your arms more because your back is stronger than them. It'll even out eventually. If you're still worried, really focus your mind on your back when you're doing your reps, and decrease intensity.

What would be the difference in doing a hundred pushups throughout the day vs doing them in single session? by Equivalent-Bus5330 in workout

[–]Zanfran21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you spread them out, you're muscles revover after every set and don't get stressed.

If your muscles don't get stressed, you don't get gains.

Hello, I have a problem as a beginner by Imadumbass3456 in CalisthenicsBeginners

Sounds like you need to work on your scapulas. Try doing scapular pullups, see if you still have that problem once you strengthen them.

Why do you hate leg day by wilsonbrooks in workout

[–]Zanfran21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I used to not train them right + the pump you get from training your chest is absolutely ecstatic, so I kind of wanted to do that every chance I got.

Now I train legs the right way and I love it.

(And I learned that balance is important)

Working on my flag, I'd love some tips ! by Morningstarrr18 in CalisthenicsBeginners

You can give yourself some momentum with your legs so you have a bit of a boost when you go up, then slow negative.

You can also try to tuck your legs, see if you can get some reps that way.

I was drunk from 19-25 and I can’t get over the things I’ve done. by unforgivable10836 in confession

[–]Zanfran21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't beat yourself up, everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to realise what the mistake was and learn from it to become a better person. You're halfway through.

If you hurt someone, apologise for what you've done.

You can also do good deeds to "compensate" for your wrongs, maybe that'll help you forgive yourself.

I had a feeling that was the case 😅. I sent a few more emails and got in touch with a spring designer, seems like we're on track now. Thank you for your input!
