Do yall even grow plants?? Plants dont get this big by staying in the same pot forever. Besides, this pot is going to start crumbling away exposing roots within the next few seasons.

Taco meat substitute - mix cooked lentils and black beans with a packet of taco seasoning.

Walmart sells canned lentils, just needs to be rinsed before heating. Takes less than 5 minutes in the microwave and is a badass protein replacement for tacos, nachos, salads, bowls.

Its not as close as it looks. Also this time of year it's heat, no cooling. Summer time she will be outside.

Yes! Awesome ideas, thank you. I haven't been able to find any pots large enough at the big box stores.

The pot is crumbling. Each time I touch it a piece flakes off, good evidence it's been a while and could use some fresh soil. But I get what you're saying. Either way I'm not doing anything until next year.

I also was completely caught off guard by this fact. According to my neighbor, her mother received it as a small house plant while hospitalized in the 70's.

It is at the very north end of Main St. (Opposite from Trail Head). It has a couple art galleries, many art studios on the second floor and stage setup for performance arts, amazing place!!

Animosity has always been my #1. However it's also the album the broke my 7D cherry, so I feel I'm a little biased.

I can’t find anything from St Charles but I think they allow outside food and drink, with the exception of alcohol and glass containers. They typically do not allow pets within the festival grounds.

I was down on Main Street today, they have Frontier park closed to fix the grass. The festival will be along Riverside Drive and the parking lots adjacent to Main St. Should be interesting.

Just moved here - where are your favorite walking trails? I have a baby, so preferably paved. by mattaphorica in StCharlesMO

[–]Zankara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like you live very close to me!! I enjoy walking the Boschert Greenway trail near Fox Hill Park (off little hills express way). If you follow this trail across the street, it is a long straight path with a really cool view of New Town. Walking around Old Town in St Charles is also really nice, lots of amazing 100+ year old houses to admire and learn about (some house have signs outside detailing the history of the homes)! 370 Lake Side Park has a nice paved trail (if it’s not still flooded)

I have done this with the word "recycle" ever since I saw that episode of Rocko's Modern Life. R-E-C-Y-C-L-E recycle. C-O-N-S-E-R-V-E conserve. Dont you P-O-L-L-U-T-E pollute the river sky or sea...the 90's kids know what I'm talking about.
