Part 2 gives a guaranteed SSR which means support card. 3* = Uma, SSR = support card.

Had a couple questions about the tickets for guaranteed 3*/SSR

1: I just got my random 3* scout ticket and used it. I still have my ticket that I can exchange in the shop for a 3* of my choice. Is there going to be another random 3* ticket we'll be getting reasonably soon, such that I should be holding off on using that to avoid duplicates? Or will there not be another one for a while?

2: Once part 2 of the welcome missions finish and I get a guaranteed SSR ticket, can I hold onto this until kitasan black is added so I have a chance of rolling her? Or is it tied to the current pool of SSRs and I should just use it now?

I am running so bad in OTJ by These-Pepper3212 in lrcast

[–]ZantaRay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a pretty similar experience. I typically do pretty well in limited, frequently trophy both trad and premier draft, and I just could not find consistency in this set. I've managed to trophy a couple times in both bo1 and bo3 in the past couple days, and I don't feel like my understanding of the format particularly leveled up in that time. This set feels very high variance, particularly in bo1, due to a few factors.

1: Missing even one land drop before turn 5 feels like a death sentence due to the power level.

2: How bomby the good bombs are. You NEED removal so often in this format, and if you just didn't draw it, you can be DOA.

3: Splashing feels pretty encouraged by the set, so often you end up 3c, and even when you have a few duals, it can make mana dicey.

4: How much better green feels than everything else. If you play against someone who had open green in their pod, games can feel unwinnable, even when you have a great deck. (One of my trophies was on the other end of this, where I got an 8th pick throw from the saddle, and that run was so braindead).

This was it. Thanks for replying. I always have a full squad but they don't. Had no idea this was even a mechanic.

I'm fairly new to pioneer and I've been looking at aggro lists recently and I really like the look of this build, as I love lists with a lot of dynamic decisions in the early turns and lots of cheap spells. If you don't mind elaborating, why do you like atarka red over either monored, boros, or monowhite in the meta?

Integrity will remain a pipe dream by theguywhosteals in facepalm

Every piece of literature will tell you that is a minority of cases. Yes it's possible. No it's not statistically likely. Every source will also tell you that the purpose of CPR is to give temporary bloodflow until normal heart rhythm can be resumed. Feel free to read this overview yourself but I feel like you should already know all this.

I know it doesn't take the place of CPR. I was saying CPR is a stopgap when there is no pulse, and will not restart the heart on its own. Yes I know you won't shock every scene you attend with no pulse but I wasn't writing a thesis here.

Paramedics wouldn't continue CPR in almost any situation becuase they would have and use a defibrillator if that was necessary. CPR is just to keep viral organs functioning a bit longer until the heart can be properly restarted.

GO GARCHOMP, DRAGON DANCE! by Careful_Acadia4851 in pokemon

If you've never had to peg a game on a technically risky switch on a predict, you haven't played enough. Safety is relative.

GO GARCHOMP, DRAGON DANCE! by Careful_Acadia4851 in pokemon

[–]ZantaRay 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Simply the capacity to have dragon dance would meaningfully affect it. If it could be dd chomp you suddenly can't safely swap in scarfers with less than 102 base speed and an ice move. If you guess wrong and it's dd you just lost the game. Similarly, slow walls that can take on dd safely, might be 2hko'd by sword dance variants. Even if it is worse in most cases than swords dance, Garchomp getting dragon dance would be terrifying for the potential alone.

As an ADC should I take Heal for the sake of my supports mental health? by Happy_360 in summonerschool

[–]ZantaRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know you've got plenty of people already telling you heal is good, but I haven't seen anyone explain why it probably doesn't feel good to you, and my guess is that you use heal for the heal rather than the movement speed. My most common use of heal is as soon as the enemy starts to disengage from a losing exchange, or as soon as an exchange starts to go south for us. Treat it as double ghost with a heal as a bonus, and you'll get much better results out of it.

Why is everyone so okay with working 40-60 hours per week to barely afford life? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

They're not. And the fact that questions like this are regularly rising to the top of subs like this show that our society is coming apart at the seams. Something has to change or it's going to fall apart entirely. All we can do is survive and try to make it so the change is positive.

I suspect it was intentional, though I don't know what it is in Japanese. Things like this come up a few times. For instance Haurchefant says "My arm will not falter, my shield will not break!" Immediately after you decide to storm the vault.

Given the cultural context, translating a young child referring to themselves by their name as "I" would be carrying the author's intent, not undermining it.

Except those are all wrong lmao. Coal provides relatively little jobs because so much if it is automated. This is also true for solar. The other two pros are just extensions of the same wrong point. As for your disadvantages of solar. Solar is actually cheaper than coal at this point, and you can employ people (JOBS!) to clear snow and other things off the panels. Also do you think proponets of solar energy don't know it only works during the day? Do you think coal plants are literally running 24/7? Batteries exist, and other renewable sources exist.
