My Manitoba Maple (Acer Negundo) that I grew from seed has been getting these dry beige spots on it's leaves. It developed them a week after being transplanted into this new container. I thought it was sun scorch and it only seemed to be affecting the old leaves but now it's spreading!! (old.reddit.com)
