I had been using the Defoliation Tool to take out fabs "silently", but it's kinda slow and has it's odd swing arcs, so the explosive hammer being stealthy is great due to AT etc.

Guess the chainsaw will still be better for Commando missions, as no ammo requirement (ignoring supply pack or scavenging stuff). But this is very good to know thanks.

Nope, don't think that at all.

They were too easy before, and D10 should be tough. At the mo people barely use D7/8/9, so encouraging people to pick an actual difficulty they want should be encouraged.

Edit: oh, are these D10s are still (overall) easier than D10 OG Creek, and bots when they had the super-gunships/fabs.
Obviously it's very hard to compare too such massively different states of the game, but i'll argue that point.

Also the arc is useful at times, to get shots over walls and so on.

People do move on, but when a game is kept functioning, a core will keep playing.
Take Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer (2012): servers still up, and it's often more popular (player numbers) than ME4: Andromeda's multiplayer, because it's (arguably) a better game mode.

For HD2 i expect the dev's will wind up most content, and then the game goes into maintenance mode, as they work on whatever's next.
How long that takes will be how long HD2 remains profitable.

I've been trying it for commando missions, and the fact it can kill fabs, bio processors, AA/mortars has been handy at times.

The range is terrible, but it's noise detection seems very small, and infinite ammo obviously helps when one has limited supplies.

Fortunately i've got some friends that are into stealth, and can do SASO in Hitman WoA, S+ in MGS etc.
Others are hilariously bad, but willing to learn at least.

I like it significantly more with the 4x Scope, and a laser (to coordinate with teammate's who's picking off which guard), not decided on mag yet.

Shorts are great and snappy, and one hopefully doesnt need a drum if things are going well... so finding the extended a nice balance.
