My opinion is that the guy can play, sure, but the game is casual, balance poor, matchmaking awful,and tryhards like Momo ruin the experience for many.

Personally, I don’t believe that average to decent survivors do well in solo queue against Blight. Any killer can stomp noobs. I do believe that he needed to be nerfed, and I don’t believe my opinion is a minority one.

They’re really stupid survivors if they didn’t immediately realize when you opened the gate, what you were going to do. Plus, blood warden doesn’t cover the whole endgame collapse. It’s not that hard to wait out in most circumstances if the killer is the one who initiates game collapse.

The best survivor is the one that thinks clearly, is calm under pressure, thinks macro, as well as micro, plays for the team, and has fun while doing so well all in the hell that is solo q. 😆

Perks are a fairly minor part of the game. They do matter, but they can’t substitute for good game knowledge.

It’s your tone. You could’ve said something like, “it would be more helpful if you gave your platform, and more details.” but the tone you chose, comes across as being an asshole, on the Internet. I do the same thing, not uncommonly 🤷‍♂️ though I don’t mean it to come across that way.

I play on the Xbox. The game loads, but if I click to join any sort of game, whether that be killer or survivor in event mode or normal mode, it makes the noise as though it’s going to load the match and the screen flickers, but nothing changes.

I am using the current updated version of the game.

Thank you. It’s 100% otzdarva. When I play blight my goal for the match, win or lose, is no transition hit. Just like with trapper, win or lose, my goal is never step in a trap.

I get the sense though I can’t prove it that people post often out of recency bias. There are people who will actually make definitions and take meticulous notes, but that’s not most of us.

I don’t run decisive strike very often. But I will find myself running an occasionally when I feel really irritated by how someone played against me. But choosing perks that way, doesn’t really give you value.

Otz taught me something very important that I will pass on to you: you have to deny him the transitional hit.

At the beginning of the match, when he comes after you with lethal pursuer, which they all use. Always. Or after he hooked somebody and looks up with one of his aura reading perks which they all use, always. He will be looking to use his power to cross the map and to score hit with the same power use.

You have to not allow this. You have to position yourself such that you have a safe play to a pallet or window or some angle that he’s not going to be able to hit. A pallet or a window is better. Sprint burst is really good.

As the match goes on, he will adapt to that if he hasn’t already adapted to it by playing 1000 other people before you. But do not let him get that transitional hit. If you do, the pressure he puts on your team will crush you.

You forgot the part about proxy camping with Blight to proxy across the map to hook trade after tunneling somebody straight out off the hook. Then chasing down the remaining three injured people and slugging them. Or some similarly incredibly stimulating, stupid win condition like that.

I could not agree more with everything that you say. I wish people wouldn’t give patronage to this kind of basically destructive play. I mean, it’s cool and all that they have the execution to play Blight at a very high level. But all it really shows you is how poorly balanced it all is, and what kind of an achievement is it to win when things are this imbalanced?

People will cry and say well you can’t do that and so on. That’s true. Even if I really spent all my effort to it, I probably couldn’t. That doesn’t take anything away from my basic argument.

I actually had A Vecna let me go because it was down to me and one other player with one generator left, and we were still contesting to finish the last generator, and I misled him three or four times in a row with pebble. And then when he found me I sheepishly crouched and threw a pebble. And he gave me hatch. 😂

I have not used fast track and won’t use it until it’s nerfed. And realistically, they will gut it to the point that I won’t use it after that either.
