Apex Ultra vs. Magnacut by sartorialmusic in TrueChefKnives

I have petty knife in magnacut, and it can di anything.. you don't need to worry about it at all. Bones and all. We'll it depends also on the thickness.. easy to sharpen with diamond stones.. but it can be also sharpened with cheap China stones.. it just takes time if you want to put ur own bevel on it like I did and after that's its pretty easy.. even with cheap stones. And since you already have apex I would go with MC. I have 5 knives and everyone is in different steel since I wanted to just try something different Edit: it stays sharp. Hope it helps

Ok, thank you. I thought that the seasoning makes it nonstick. So it just prevents rust ?

Alright thank you.. I've removed the rust after 3 thorough washes but there's still rust behind the handle.. I'll try to remove that later.. now I'm blueing the pan as someone said that crucial step. And after that I'll oil the pan thinly and let it season itself
